Apoph: WHAT ARE YOU DOING? *APOPH uses FLAILTECH: WRECKING CANNON BALL! APOPH hurls his PLANET ON A STICK BAAL-ward like a cannon ball! Should it hit or not, it will fly back to APOPH like a boomerang.*

Research, that's what.

*NIGHTMARE's new prison rattles in minuscule, trapped rage.*

*All of BAALs gear is bound! You need someone capable of breaking L00T Binds, which are basically invulnerable. You completely fail and die in attempting to steal, ESPECIALLY during his still-ongoing SWORDNADO! There goes the Persona-user! ((why'd you do that?!))*

*APOPH'S attempts at murdering BAAL fall flat during the SWORDNADO! He is completely invulnerable during this move!!!*

*APOPH uses LIGHT OF RUIN!*

*SIVELOS is dead! BAAL is invulnerable, in case his previous no-selling of your attacks was not a clue enough!*

*CONGRADURATIONS! Your sudden and random appearance (which, mercifully, no-one seems to care about) and your immensely threatening summon has saved the whole party from total annihilation from NOT DODGING THE SWORDNADO!*

*BALADAX THE RELENTLESS fails to do any damage, but Baal's wrath is directed towards it and he slays it...Instead of all of you.*

*Perhaps it would now be fitting to say it: BAAL obviously cannot SWORDNADO forever, but he is INVULNERABLE while using SWORDNADO, so your job is to dodge!*

*Also, a class please? Just pull something out of your rear end or copy from the nearest JRPG if imagination fails you utterly. Just realize the power levels are stupidly high as a standard!*

*By the way: Though this is not usually the case, dying here will mean that you will have to wait for a partner to revive you! You cannot automatically respawn! Hope one of you brought some Revives!*

((Just so you know, Neo: 5Ks of damage will be met with 'Did you leave off, like, 10-11 zeroes?' Yeah...Don't try to record this stuff. It won't end well. For that matter, breaking multiple universes is the standard for attacks that are actually effective at this stage. Just know that collateral damage is irrelevant! It all just comes back together afterwards! Except the target(s).))

*Neo Emolga's powerful spell blocks the SWORDNADO, but breaks instantly when hit with it; everything else manages to just keep out of the way.*

*BAAL's SWORDNADO immediately disperses as BAAL instead goes into a BLADE ORBITER! The swords from before, breifly groundbound, resume animation and fly up around BAAL as BAAL himself ascends into the sky, creating a large orbiting sword array, kind of like a swarm of Unown-sphereical and following weird patterns, but not nearly as good of a defensive structure as the SWORDNADO. BAAL is clearly in the middle and can be targeted and damaged, but his array of swords is also offensively mighty and will kill you just as quickly as the SWORDNADO, if not even faster-and they're going to seek you out. ECRIVAIN's method of dodging won't work against these either, as they suddenly coat themselves with NIGHTMARE's shadow energies, drawn out against his will. You can't really tell what's going on in there.*

Tazz: Multi-task! Damage-dealers hit BAAL, everyone else keep those Swords from murdering us! OK?

*OMINOUS uses EARTHWALL, creating a massive shield hewn from the very rocks beneath you to shield NEO, HIMSELF and TAZZ!*

*TAZZ uses DYING OF THE LIGHT! The light of the area suddenly but totally vanishes, and a WITHERING ARUA can be (harmlessly) felt in the area, swarming to BAAL! No-one but TAZZ can really see what's going on-it's all swarming just around BAAL! TAZZ snaps his fingers-and suddenly the whole horde of shadows and the WITHER POWER slams into BAAL. His resistant rear end barely takes damage, but it's a start!*

*REBECCA creates MORE AEGISes, though those are merely precautions if you can't keep all the swords away.*

*MEANWHILE, NIGHTMARE is still trapped inside the perfect cage that is BAAL's sword. Of course, this does not make him helpless, and the aforementioned draining wasn't too bad on him. He doesn't seem able to escape, but can theoretically relay information from the sword to others...But as he's not really investigated the area, he doesn't have anything useful yet!*

Nightmare: (Hm... This arena is roughly 60 meters by 60 meters across, bounding by flags... Nothing of interest in the surrounding area. Perhaps I can get a close up of Baal and his little cage? Oh? Oh, haha, this is interesting.) *Though NIGHTMARE is currently sealed, his power of telepathy still works perfectly! NIGHTMARE sends TAZZ the entire 'schematic' (i.e., structure and any weakpoints it has) of the SWORD ORBITER.*

Nightmare: (You there, Wither Lord... I've inspected Baal's sword orbiter, and while it's expertly designed... It has a few structural weakpoints. Should you strike them hard enough, the entire thing should temporarily crumble. Beware, Baal is most likely savvy enough to cover up his weaknesses the moment he finds you attacking them. Be wary. Also, one thing; I'd appreciate it if you could release me.)

*APOPH uses TRIBUNAL CAGE OF LIGHT! APOPH fires out several orbs of light, which connect themselves via laser beams to form a wireframe pyramid around BAAL! Hardlight surfaces form in the holes of the pyramid, which proceeds to shrink rapidly, closing in around BAAL, eventually collapsing into a supernova-esque explosion that consumes the entire structure! Kaboom.*

((Lol, okay, sorry for being a bit of a nubcake with this. XP I'll leave the HP junk off, though I was kind of doing that just to be funny.

Also, if you don't mind, I'd like to switch my class to White Mage and be a healer/buffer, since I see there's demand for revives and it seems like a LOT of stuff gets hurt and glamorously turned into puzzle pieces in this. XD So just nix the stuff with the dragon and the shadow barrier, not like they matter anyway since both of them are gloriously dead and gone. Hope that's ok.))

He realizes he can't discern the true nature of BAAL's attack as he is surrounded with WITHERING AURA, nor can he reach him from his position on the ground. However, he is able to see once again as the force of DYING OF THE LIGHT strikes BAAL. NEO sees that TAZZ is in a strategic position to strike at BAAL!*

Neo Emolga: Heads up, Christmas comes early!

*NEO EMOLGA casts ANGELIC ADRENALINE on TAZZ, causing two white feather angel wings to sprout from his back and infuses him with CELESTIAL FURY, dramatically increasing his ATTACK POWER, his DEFENSIVE FORTIFICATION, and gives him FLIGHT!*

However, he quickly notices a window to the outside, which appears to be peering out of every sword at once. AFter a few seconds of confusion, Nightmare does the above. However, the Sword Orbiter is not a physical construction-the swords are too far apart. You instead mention where the swords are least likely to block attacks.*

*APOPH strikes true!*

*You could probably be both at the same time: Classes effectively work as levels, with each level up gaining a whole new class up. Think of it as going to level 100 as a Pikachu, then becoming Level 1 as an Emolga, but keeping all the Level 100 Pikachu stats; By the way, on that note, Levels basically equate to EXP. Got it?*

*TAZZ (and everyone else, really) could already fly, but the wings increase his agility to mad levels instead*

*BAAL takes another hit! It's all pretty much chip damage, but death of a thousand cuts is basically what's going to happen. A sword impacts one of the shields you have, destroying it...That was your only shield, by the way. "Attack Attack Attack" won't work, you will need shields. Lots of them.*

*OMINOUS uses MAGMA AD INFINITUM, creating several volcanoes that shield him, then erupts to form sheilding for TAZZ and DENNIS!*

*DENNIS turns into a Pikachu, and DENNIS and THUNDER both use THUNDER on BAAL, dealing a bit of damage! Oh, yes: Because of the mechancis, for this fight only, everyone's going to get turns contorlled by me if they haven't posted in a while so DPS keeps up.*

*WANDER casts a TIDAL WALL! Expensive to his energies, this wall protects THUNDER, ECRIVAIN, and himself!*

*REBECCA uses GOLDEN RULE, creating a massive wall of Law energies around herself, NEO, and APOPH! Everyone (conscious) is guarded from attack!*

*For the record: Because I think there might be a more specialized type of thread for this stuff and it might make LPW9 an actual LPW thread, I MAY move this to a freeform RP thread (once this battle is over) and leave this one to its actual purpose. Calling it an actual RP is a bit baloney as there's no signups whatsoever. I may also try something else (on top of this) assuming things play out a certain way, but we will see.*

*APOPH flies backward and uses UNIQUETECH: WINGS OF RA, blasting BAAL with a maelstrom of elemental power. Obviously, APOPH takes advantage of the buff the attack receives whilst in his TRUE FORM (normally, the buff applies while in RA form, but since the TRUE form is a fusion of the RA and APOPHIS forms, this buff still applies).*

*SIVELOS's corpse gets hit by debris.*

*NIGHTMARE looks out the peepholes and attempts to inspect the surrounding area.*
