*Tricksterdom actually WASN'T Retconned in any manner. If you look at the Land of Crypts and Helium in future appearances after what Jane did to it, it still has the life she spawned from doing her thing. The instance where it's hurled at the Land of Heat and Clockwork better shows it-half of it is still covered in colorful life, as she left it when she went Trickster. Also, the AVATAR OF TRICKSTERDOM is a girl. Girls were the only mergers, so it's unambiguously female.*
