I gotta say my favourite is Hideaway from Dean Koontz. A psychopathic, satan worshipping serial killer returning from hell? I like it.
My other favourites are the Inheritence Cycle, Harry Potter, Tomorrow series and deltora quest.
Gahhh too many to name for me, but the ones that I've been trying to keep current with are The Dresden Files, The Event Group, and Chess Team,
One of my favorite series was Jim Buther's Codex Alera, which he made on a bet:

I might've been able to read them in that time frame, if I wasn't working, I went through the Dresden Files as fast as I could spend the money for the books, the same thing with some of the Event Group novels, I'd finish them in a day or two and move like a zombie through work. Have you read the Night Angel trilogy by Brent Weeks? A pretty good read as well, it's a pretty dark story, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. The protagonist reminded me of Tavi a little bit.
Not yet, is that a new series he's writing?

I don't really have a favorite book of all-time, but one of my favorites I've read recently is Junot Diaz's The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao.
Not to seem too fanboy or cliche, but I'm a huge Stephen King fan. I'd have to say my favorites are the short stories. I recently read Full Dark, No Stars and it's so good I'm about to read it again. It's not to read if you're not of age, and does contain foul language, but nothing too barbaric. I'm starting to pick up more short story books from him to read whenever the internet is down over here.
I don't read a lot of fiction. If anyone knows of any medieval knight like fiction that emphasizes politics, please make a recommendation.
I mostly read theology. I am about 60% done with "The Christian Faith: A Systematic Theology for Pilgrim's on the Way" by Michael Horton and I'd say it's been my favorite book besides Scripture so far.
I want to start reading more philosophy, science, and history. I feel like I've wasted most of my life not reading good books. :/
