Been playing Outlast, which is $5 on Steam at the moment. It's one of those survival horror games that some people said was really good and scares the crap out of you.

It's... alright. I'm not too crazy about the game play, as your character can't fight, you're just expected to run away and hide in places and hope the one locker you hide in or the door you shut happens to save you (so it's kind of a luck crapshoot thing I guess). The jumpscares are also kind of "oh" in my opinion. Blood and gore, I've seen plenty of, so it doesn't exactly creep me out too much. But yeah, I see they were trying to just make the feeling of helplessness be the source of all of the scares. Bleh, I'm more the kind that would fight back and kick butt, but this game doesn't let you do that. :\

As far as the scare factor goes, I have a feeling I'm just numb to these kinds of games. XD

I'm jumping back into Xenoblade Chronicles X after kinda pushing it to the side with all these other games that have come out recently. ^^ game has quite the re-learning curve xD

Gotta love it when 50+ level enemies just pop into your area, right when you're on a mission to kill a horde of level 16 critters. Get completely demolished in one second :/
