Considering this is the same Houndoom that killed that curly-floof Growlithe earlier... she's definitely up to no good!

I've been trying to be a bit better about the art in PRS pages lately- these next few (and the currently incomplete Pages 19-20) have all been quite a challenge to get done since they're either heavy in action or rely on the character's expressions. Pages 19/20 are going to kill me when I get around to finishing them. They're stuck in sketch stage while I take a anger-induced hiatus cause of complaints. xD

There was a hidden thing on this page that I put in as an easter egg/hint. I think this version of the page still has it, but I removed it from SJ/DA because people complained it was too difficult to find (and granted, no one has found it without lots of hints/help). The complaints over this page are also the reason PRS is currently on hiatus. I got a bit miffed over the complaints and am still a bit annoyed over it. I don't want to work on the last pages of the chapter until I'm not quite as angry with PRS related matters. One more page left to post after this.

I'll try to get off the hiatus soon, but meh. Motivation drops like a rock when I get angry over PRS-related complaints. I don't want to force the next page cause it's kinda-sorta important. And by that, I mean very important. Especially on the art side. I want it to look good and not mess it up cause I'm forcing myself to work. xD

Omfg the improvement between that redone prologue page and the original one... Holy absolute crap. o____o It's utterly incredible. Like, breathtakingly incredible. I'm not even exaggerating. I'd forgotten what the first page looked like so I went back and checked, then compared it, AND HOLY CRAP. Neko that's incredible!!!!! You've come so far! Imagine how you'll be in five years. .-. Truly, amazing. I can't wait to see the rest of the prologue. 0w0

I absolutely love the panel where Bern's mama comes in and she's like "Get away from my son!" So powerfully done. I could hear the rage in her voice when I read it. She looks so powerful. And I adore her design. :D

And omfg...seriously? XD People were complaining because they couldn't find the easter egg?! It's not like you said you were NEVER POSTING AGAIN unless they found it. xD Omg people are so pathetic. And rude. O_o Like HKim said, it's not your duty to give us pages, and easy Easter Eggs at that. xD Like wtf. How stupid of them. Sorry you had to deal with that crap, haha. I'm determined to find it now. >:3 Anyway, that page is GORGEOUS. I love the Zila silhouette. Amazing. C: And the dark pulse effect IS SO COOL. How did you do that?!

As for the eater egg, I have no idea, but I can see some orange within the black in the gaps in Bern's mama's wings in the last panel. I cheated and zoomed in on Photoshop, haha. It doesn't seem to make a picture though so that's probably not it. XD Idk.

Pfft, I do PRS cause I know people enjoy it. But I've been known to go on hiatus cause I'm immature and spiteful against people being rude about PRS. xD Petty, I know, but MEH. I can do what I want.

You can't blame the twins for these flashbacks. They haven't been born yet! (And won't be for a while yet)

I know, right? The old page is just -terrible-. I hope to do one redo page a month when I'm not on hiatus, so it'll be a good while before I redo all the pages through where I want to. I still have a lot of work to do though. Thankfully, this was the whole point of PRS- to get better at drawing by giving me something to work on long-term. I think it's been working pretty well thus far. xD

I had a lot of fun with Pyrra's design (that's her name- not stated in the comic, I don't think). I love drawing dragons if it weren't obvious already. She's the first bipedal dragon I've drawn. I've got her original concepts up in the concept/art thread. She's quite fun to draw. And never mess with mama dragon. It's not a good idea.

And yes. Seriously. People complained that I made the easter egg too hard to find. So hard to find that you can't see it. I made it hard to find because once you find it, it reveals a major spoiler. I mean, it's not like I don't plan to reveal said thing in the near-ish future (I'm thinking by the end of this arc- so not too far off.) And it's fine, I should be used to this crap by now. >.> I'm a petty person and went on hiatus just cause. =D And I wish you the best of luck finding the secret. It's VERY well hidden.

As for the... heh. Dark Pulse. I used references from the anime then used those to shape how I would personally draw the attack. I inked it all in as pure black on many layers then used clipping masks to color it in. Add in some glow effects and THERE. Easy 'Dark Pulse' effect. =D

Edit: I'd post the video for that page, buuuut... It could give away the secret. So I'll have to hold out on that until the thing is officially revealed on panel.
