No worries! :D That's fine. Sometimes it's a lot to take in. xD Haha, not so much stupid, but more like what you've been explaining this whole post--that it's information YOU know, but forget to relay to the reader. Trust me, that's common. xD I do it a lot, mostly in conversation. I'll start talking about something and then realise halfway through that I forgot a vital bit of context. xD Such as "Oh yeah, this is a dream, by the way." So no worries. It's not me being like "OMG YOU'RE SUCH A BAD WRITER FOR NOT DOING THESE THINGS" or anything. I feel like it's somewhat my duty to point out things I see when I read people's stories to help them improve, and so often nobody else takes the job of doing so.

Yeah, I see. xD Nah, you don't have to feel dumb! And I wasn't pointing out the name thing because I thought it was odd that one pokemon had a name and the other didn't--it was that the other didn't have one by default. I just expect every wild pokemon to have a name because, well, I assume all parents would name their children or if the pokemon grew up without parents or siblings, they'd just give themselves a name. Or, in the case of a non-PMD story, if the pokemon was raised by a trainer, they'd give it a name. Even if it already had one. xD (Awkward.) I see. After the recap of what The Reaper was doing since he arrived, maybe mentioning that Legendaries had been sent in to help round up the humans would be a plan. :] At least, in regard to Heatran.

Nah, that's okay. xD It was only one part, right? And yeah--sometimes it's up to the reader more than the author to figure things out and actually pay attention so they understand the context. xD Otherwise it becomes like a children's show or game where they have to repeat the same thing about four times before they leave it alone. xD

You don't have to be so hard on yourself! I didn't rip you apart. I gently pointed out places for improvement and helped explain where you could further improve, right? x) Or is my definition of "gently" a little skewed? (OMG I just had a blank on how to spell that word and had to google it. xD) I'm glad you're very grateful! 8D Because I put a lot of time and effort into critiquing. >:3 It's the worst when people don't end up listening... *GLARES* No, but seriously, it sounds like you'll take my advice well. :] I'll give the prologue a reread once you're done. ;D

P.S. I suppose that's a thing, but to me, legendaries should still have names. xD Even if they're just kept to themselves, maybe, and everyone else knows them as "Heatran" or "Lugia." I dunno. I'm big on names. I never liked how Game Freak didn't want to give any pokemon actual names. -_- Okay, now let's make an animal game and name all the dogs "Dog" and all the cows "Cow"!


On a totally unrelated note, you should considering joining the new Gotta Catch 'Em All roleplay. :] It's like a regular roleplay, but it's point-based and you keep track of items, pokemon, badges, events and more in a trainer card, which you keep separate. :] It's fun! And good if you like to write. ;D Anyway, I'll get to Chapter One soon, hopefully. ;3
