Zenith shook Ruby's, or rather Max's, hand, smiling. "Nice to meet you, Max. So you're from Orre, huh? That's a pretty far region. And sure, we can go together."

The two of them walked through Pallet Town, enjoying the scenery and tranquility. They eventually arrived at the lab, when a loud bang suddenly rang through the air.

"What was that?" Zenith said, looking around. She saw some pokemon pour out of the lab, along with a herd of Tauros, who ran through an open gate. "That can't be good..." she said. She watched as Max sent out his Mudkip, Chunk, and ordered it to use Ice Beam on the ground to corral the pokemon back through the fence.

Crap, if only I had a pokemon... Zenith thought. She then blinked as she felt something on her leg and looked down, spotting the Eevee. "Hey there, where did you come from?" she said, picking the Eevee up in her arms.

Just then, Professor Oak came running over, calling out to Zenith and Max for help.

Zenith turned to Max. "What should we do, Max?"

Suddenly, another boy came running over, asking what was going on with the Tauros and other pokemon. He appeared to be an albino, which surprised Zenith, but she was more concerned about the pokemon than the boy's physical appearance.

"No idea. We just arrived when all of the pokemon went crazy," Zenith said. "We need to corral them somehow."
