Brandon wiped the sweat off his forehead and sighed... that was a really intense fire. Mudkip had fought it well, with him and Max's pokemon, they did it.

Brandon looked at Mudkip who had flopped down onto his back to catch his breath, fighting such an intense fire had exhausted the poor little guy. "Great job Mudkip".

Brandon took Skipper's pokeball off his belt... he pressed the button and out came Skipper, Brandon then reached for Mudkip's pokeball... but in the time it took for him to do so, Skipper had gone up to the exhausted mudkip and embraced the water type in a big hug. They were both a team and friends forever now. Brandon then said to mudkip as he pressed the deposit button on his pokeball "Come and rest now my dear pokemon... you fought the fire well".
