Sou frowned a bit as Max said he was unsure of how much further they had to keep going. While he seemed to know a lot of stuff, it was usually normal for one person not to know everything. Especially when they weren’t the cause or had a hand in it. It was the next statement he made that had her sigh. He was right though, if we didn’t at least try to stop it or find the source, other less prepared trainer’s might find themselves in a bit of trouble. She shuddered to think of one or two trainer’s having to go against the wave of zubat or sandshrew they had come across. Zenith had seemed to agree as well and with her newly evolved butterfree, perhaps things wouldn’t be so bad. ”One pokemon can change the outcome of a battle after all…” she thought as they continued on into the cave. The shouting of people and pokemon alike making her a bit uneasy when Max stopped in his tracks. She wondered what he stopped for when he asked "Sou...you have a kirlia right? Can you ask your partner to help us narrow down which direction the people are in pain."

”Oh! yes, Lyna helped in the battle earlier with the zubat.” Sou said. After they had cleared the sandshrew earlier, she had recalled all her pokemon to get at least some rest without worry of being attacked. She then grabbed Lyna’s poke ball and tossed it out, a Kirlia appearing in a flash of white light. ”Kir! she exclaimed as she appeared, turning to Sou as she knelt down. ”Hey Lyna, think you could hone in on the people in pain here? We need to narrow down the search. So will you do it?” she asked with a smile as Lyna nodded. Lia! it cried as it closed it eyes, lowering its head a bit. After about a minute, it opened its eyes and looked in the direction of one of the paths. Kir! Kir! it said, nodding to that particular path where it felt a significant amount of people and pokemon in pain. It was also slightly agitated. ”It seems we have our path now, so I’ll recall Lyna for now as I don’t think she likes those waves very much..” Sou said, recalling Lyna to her poke ball.
