Sou looked to Sloane as she mentioned her favorite water types and smiled a bit. ”ohhhh, I really like the Oshawott line myself, especially Dewott, I can definitely see traveling around with it by my side. Greninja and Buizel are pretty cool too” she commented before looking to Zenith who also spoke up about her favorite water types, nodding. Walrein was definitely an interesting one and she thought it was pretty neat that her and Sloane both seemed to like the buizel line. She had already talked about her favorites, so then she finally turned to Max as he mentioned Marshtomp being his favorite along with Vaporeon and Lapras from that region. She had forgotten what Lapras looked like, but definitely recognized the name, frowning a bit as she couldn’t get a clear image in her head. However being that he mentioned it was in this region, they were sure to run into one at some point during their journey.

It seemed like awhile they had been traveling down that path without any real signs of this biker gang or any trainer’s. It was a little weird considering how worried Nurse Joy had been in the Pokemon Center, but chalked it up to perhaps them being lucky to possibly avoid such a gang. Just imagining these guys, she had a picture in her head of men about twice her size in leather jackets and with really mean looks. She shook her head to get the image out of her head having enough of that and looked ahead as they finally reached the entrance to route 24. So far, there hadn’t been much going on, but just upon entering this route there was tons of trainer’s all over the place and a massive bridge that ran over a lake, a man sitting in the center of it as he appeared to be yelling out something about the greatest trainer challenge. He announced that for them to make it over, they were gong to have to earn it, which probably meant to battle and beat all the trainer’s on it. She scratched her head as she looked at the amount of trainer’s stationed on that bridge and sighed. I”m surprised that bridge is still standing…” she thought as she turned to the others then to the bridge. ”I guess we’re gong to be battling to get across this bridge now huh?” she said as she stretched her arms. Standing beside her was her Kirlia looking over towards the bridge itself.

"Lapras is an admirable Pokemon, but rare as you can get. I'd love to see one in the future but the odds of it happening aren't that large, so it is just one of those things that if it happens, cool, but if not, I'll live," Sloane replied with a nonchalant shrug.

Sloane slowly raised her eyebrows as the number of trainers increased drastically. She frowned a little and glanced at the others. "Are we going to have to fight our way through that?" she asked in disbelief. Sloane sighed a little. "Well, if it's the only way to stop the bikers then I guess there's no choice." Still, Sloane found it quite odd they were allowed to do this. Were these people not aware of the biker gang? Were these people the biker gang? Were these the people getting terrorized by the biker gang? All was possible.

Max looked over confused.
"A dangerous gang ....and an open trainers battle. " He said thinking this didnt add up. (Truth is I mixed up part Yellow and Blue here..lol Ill adjust)

As they walked up into the crowd Max at the others.
"Keep and eye open..these look like normal trainers but we have no idea why they are all gathering right here at 6 at night." He said.

As they moved through they noticed there were no children here. Yet these werent necessarily bikers either.

"Maybe we should split up into teams."

It seemed that Sloane wasn’t too comfortable with the idea of battling through this group of people on top of some other concerns. She placed her hand against her neck as she rubbed the back gently before lowering it down to her side. As Max spoke up she glanced over at him for a few seconds before looking to the bridge as he mentioned that there being a dangerous biker gang, then this open trainer’s battle didn’t add up. He was right. If there was such a gang up here, there shouldn’t be this open trainer’s battle going on without a hitch. They might have been the biker gang, but she didn’t see any bikes one would expect gangs such as that to ride around on. She tilted her head a bit back and forth slowly as she pondered on it herself, listening as Max mentioned for them to keep their eyes open. She walked along with the group glancing around the area. There was no sign of this gang or any kids, though kids part mdd more sense as it was getting pretty late by then.

”Groups?” Sou asked as Max suggested they split into teams. There was only four of them at that point, and while they would certainly be able to search the area faster if they split into teams, if they somehow DID run into this biker gang, it could be dangerous. ”I guess we could..search faster if we split up, but what if either one of the teams runs into trouble? If it’s a gang, there’s sure to be more then two of them so it would be a pretty uneven fight I guess. Or… is there something else?” she asked.

I encourge you to battle where you have to..but keep your eyes open for whats really going on here." he said then taking Marshtomp down from his shoulders. Max called back Marshtomp. It was going to be hard for him to blend into a group of trainers. He chose to called out Parasect instead which would blend in better than a Hoenn starter.

"Sloane and I will take the west end of the bridge you and Zenith take the east. Im sure before the end will meet up again."

Zenith listened as the others talked about their favorite water-types. She smiled as she heard Sloane say she liked the Buizel line as well. She also liked Lapras and Vaporeon.

A while later, they all arrived at a bridge, where a huge crowd of trainers were gathered. A man with a bull horn was making an announcement saying that the leader of the bridge wasn't allowing trainers to pass without battling first.

Zenith frowned at this. "Why would they do that? What's going on...?" she said.

”I guess we’re going to be battling to get across this bridge now, huh?” Sou said.

Sloane also spoke up, "Are we going to have to fight our way through that?" she asked in disbelief.

"Looks like it, guys," Zenith said.

As they walked up into the crowd, Max looked at the others. "Keep ad eye open... these look like normal trainers, but we have no idea why they are all gathering right here at 6 at night."

As they moved through the crowd, they noticed there were no children here. Yet these weren't necessarily bikers either.

"Maybe we should split up into teams." Max said.

Sou then piped up, ”I guess we could... search faster if we split up, but what if either one of the teams runs into trouble? If it’s a gang, there’s sure to be more then two of them so it would be a pretty uneven fight I guess. Or… is there something else?” Sou asked.

Zenith knew Sou's fears were well-founded. There were only four of them, and there would obviously be much more than that in this motorcycle gang. Splitting up posed a risk, but it might be the only way to find out about the gang.

"I think it's risky to split up," Zenith began, "but it's also probably the only way to get information on the gang. I hate to say it, but I guess we should split up."

The decision were made so suddenly that Sloane didn't have a chance to truly voice her opinion. She had to agree with the idea that it was too dangerous to split up. Sloane leaned more on her walking stick and glanced around nervously. She might like dark types and thrive in the darkness, but the sheer fact that she had a bad leg could end her in this situation.

Yet, suddenly they were separated into groups and everything had been decided for her. Sloane glanced down a little, her uncertainty rising. She felt a tug on her pant leg and glanced over at Parashu. The shiny Sandshrew smiled at her, cocking his head a little to the side. Sloane couldn't help but smile back and took a deep breath. She knew what Parashu was saying even if he wasn't speaking. She wasn't alone, she had her six partners with her, as well as Max and his Pokemon.

"All right, let's do this. Max, would you recommend me swapping out Parashu for someone else to draw less attention or do you think Parashu is fine?"

Sloane and Max headed out. Max could feel Sloanes discomfort with this.

Max looked at Sloane with a big smile.
"You know I dont meant toot my own horn but...Im kind of a league champion and have battled with and against legendary pokemon." He joked

"In fact this is the perfect place for the kimono girls to have sent you to train. What better experience than with a league champ and all around charming ..and sometimes big headed guy. Not everyone in this crowd is in this gang and even if they I wouldnt let anything happen to you." He smiled

"Now, lets see some of that confidence...and yeah your sandshrew is fine..should help us out with what I had in mind anyways." Max burst out laughing in a slightly evil way. As if he was going to do something to get them into trouble.

On the other end Zenth and Sou walked. As they walked they noticed some trainers looking at them like they were slightly out of place.

"Legends..not legend..not legend.." The guy paused

"Oh please ...look at these two...fresh out of the academy. My vote novices.." She chuckled thinking the two wouldnt hear their conversation.

Sloane laughed at Max's boasting. She knew about some of his adventures from the tellings of the Kimono Girls. He was somewhat of a legend there after all. Yet, such pridefulness was a welcome relief for Sloane. She bent down and picked up Parashu, placing the Sandshrew on her shoulder.

"Ah don't worry about it. Truthfully, I don't mind it. It's welcome relief from the whole humility theme back at the temple. Even as trainees we can't brag or anything, we have to be humble all the time. It's annoying in it of itself but when you want to tell your friends about something cool that happened to you it's hard to do it in a humble way, you know? I got reprimanded for lacking humility a lot back at the temple. One of the reasons I'm still a trainee."

Sloane glanced around at the nearby trainers and nodded. She could see what Max meant. This kind of situation would be something that the Kimono Girls would put her through. Lady Ignus would be the most likely to do something like this, what with her liking to make her students very uncomfortable and all. Sloane snorted at the charming comment and nodded a little. "I can see that. Well, if you think this is what the Kimono Girls would want and as long as you promise to keep me safe then… well I guess I can give it a shot."

Max's sudden semi-evil laughter startled Sloane. She gazed at him with both eyebrows raised, but couldn't keep a small smile from her lips. He had something planned. "What exactly did you have in mind, Max?"

Sou blinked as Max explained the situation from a different angle. Rather then thinking of just two of them versus an entire bike gang, it was easier to see it from a different perspective. He also explained it would probably be closer to a scouting mission and suggested she travel with Zenith to the east. ”Alright.” she said and looked to Zenith as she was ready to go to. She smiled. ”Okay. Let’s gooooooo~!” she cheered a bit as she headed down towards the east end of the bridge along with Zenith. She glanced around the area around as she walked, Lyna at her side watching her back when she spotted two trainer’s up ahead. They hadn’t seen too many people down this direction, if any at all, and these two seemed to be a bit different somehow. Sou hadn’t caught everything what they said either except for the tail end about a vote on novices. Being that they were directly in each other’s line of sight, she was almost certain they were talking about them. She sighed and then stretched her arms out in front of her and then raised her right arm above her head, waving her hand. They didn’t seem unfriendly or dangerous, so it didn’t make sense to make a scene. Saying Hi didn’t seem like a problem either.

”Hi there!” she called with a small smile.
