Brandon hurried to catch up the group... Eventually got really wet and damp with dripping water, Skipper was annoyed with the water but didnt complain and kept on lighting the cave, even so Brandon knew he couldn't keep Skipper out there. He stopped for a second, grabbed his small waterproof flashlight and clicked it on.

He then withdrew Skipper and contiued running. He caught up with the group very quickly and suddenly, the group seemed to slowed nearly to a stand still... Brandon came running and splashing in neearly colliding with those in the back of the group. He was met with hushes and harsh stares.

Brandon followed the group as they inched along, they spotted the grunts... he crouched as Rocky asked how many there were and Rose replied 2. 2 grunts was nothing... his team could take them... let alone the entire group. Brandon told his pokemon to remain quiet but to form a defensive formation once more, Skipper remained pokeball for now, if he was needed, then Brandon would release him, but not before.

Brandon just crouched silently waiting and watching.

Brandon watched in wonder as Alice's Shuppet scared the daylights out of one of the grunts.... A few seconds later a swarm of newly awakened zubats sorrunding them, trying to attack them... Brandon was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of he zubats, he tried franticly swatting wildly at the zubats around him. His pokemon were feebly attempting to fend them away from theier trainer, Manky punched at various zubats knocking one down, then another, Pidgey flapped is wings and pecked at a couple passing zubats, nipping one in the wing, he also used his claws when he could. Mudip began squirting water at a couple zubats, dis banding their formation, missing the zubats themselves. The resg of Brandon's pokemon wefe also doing what they could, eventually the swarm began to dissipate, Brandon reached on his belt and released Skipper from his pokeball, Skipper blinked a few times, seeming slightly confused... Then he saw a couple remaining zubats and made the flams on his tail bigger, chasing after them. The swam was now cleared up enough for Brandon to assess his sorrundings, he saw other trainers battling the zubat swarm. After a couple minutes they were almost completely gone and now they could see the grunts. Meghan's pickachu cleared out the remaining zubats, then Rocky confronted the grunts... He thought it was quite silly, it was obvious that the result would be battle. Brandon stepped up next to Rocky, readying for the battle, Brandon's pokemon formed their formation again, giving the grunts very evil stares... Skipper growled the grunts and crossed his arms and tapped his foot annoyed and somewhat inpatient with the 'neogations' efforts, the rest of the pokemon Brandon had followed suit, Manky put his fist left fist into his other hand, making the usual prepared for a fight sign, Mudkip growled and moved a nearby puddle of water closer to him... All the time still staring at the grunts menacingly. The rest of his pokemon were doing similar actions.

Brandon almost chuckled at his pokemon's eageriness. One thing was clear though, his pokemon were definitelly ready to fight.

Brandon was surprised how quick things had progressed, one minute the group was in control, the next he was falling through the cave floor with rocks falling around him, Brandon landed with a thud... Narrowly missing hitting his head, he covered his head and hoped very much that a rock didnf land directly on him. He felt small ones thump against him and clatter to the floor. Brandon finally passed out from the confusion ray after a couple minutes. When he came to the rocks had stopped falling but he had a pile of smaller rocks pinned near hie legs, he was sorrunded by rocks of all sizes. He pulled the stones from legs and very slowly sat up, checking himself over for injuries, other then a few bruises, minor cuts and scrapes and sore stiff muscles, he seemed to be alright. His next thoughts went to his pokemon, they had all been out there pokeballs and near him when they fell.. He called out to them "Skipper!!! Skipper, Mudkip!! Pidgey!.Mankey! Catepie! Nidoran! Are you guys ok?" a couple minutes later he heard the shuffling of rocks nearby and a screech of 'MANKEY MANKKM MANKEEY MANKEEY!' then Brandon's Manky appeared in a small opening he made by tossing away rocks. He seemed to motion urgently for Brandon to follow him. Which Brandon did, he crawled through the very small space and came upon a very small opening, inside Skipper laid unconcious, Mudkip and Pidgey sitting next to him trying urgently to get him to wake up... Nidoran seemed ok and was trying to comfort a very nervous... Extremely terrified caterpie. Brandon crawled over to Skipper, he seemed to have taken a very hard hit to the head, he was also very bruised in several areas of his body... Brandon called to Skipper several times and gave him a gentle shake to see if he could arise him. No response, he pulled Skipper's pokeball off his belt. He pressed the button sending Skipper back into his pokeball. A few questions to the rest of his team revealed what had happened, when the fall happened Skipper had been standing close to Caterpie, right before they hit the ground, Skipper knowing Caterpie would likely be crushed under the rocks and him being team leader, took caterpie in his arms and curled up into a ball, saving Caterpie.

Brandon then asked his pokemon to help cleaf some rocks, which they did. They very very soon found the rest of the team. They were helping rose who had (it would seem) had just admitted she was blind. Rocky was trying to find a way out. Brandon walked up to Rocky "Do you think my Pidgey here might be able to help?"

Pidgey flapped his wings happily, excited to have a very seemingly important role.

Brandon watched as Alice and Meghan successfully managed to climb out of the pit. The rest of the group remained in the small dark pit. His eyes had adjusted to the darkeness as much as humanly possible, he still couldn't see very much, but he could now see the outlines of the other trainers and the rocks. Within a couple mintues Rocky had released his Beheameth and said the little hippo would dig them out, however within a couple seconds the plan was blown because the Hippo because the Hippo became distracted and began to eat mushrooms, which seem to agitate a family Paras which grew them. Rocky withdrew the hippo, a couple people captured paras, Brandon considered catching one himself, but decided against it. He didn't need it right at the moment. He began considering trying to make a small fire in the pit, he always carried a couple lighters and few boxes of matches, but he would need wood, he wondered if it was possible A peice wood or maybe several, could have fallen in the pit with them during the collaspe. He onew there were A couple man made structures with wood in caves... So it was possible.

Right as Brandon's mind was coming back to reality in order to execute his hopeful plan, he thought he saw a group of paras carrying what looked like Rose's pokemon... And was that an opening he saw? He hoped his mind wasn't playing tricks on him due to standing in the darkness for so long.

*I left this open ended because I wasnt sure if the tunnel thing was something only for Rocky and Rose.... Or if the rest of the rest of the group could see itnas well.*

Brandon followed the others into the cave, when Rocky said to protect him and Rose and to serve as a kind of body guard in case of a potenitoal ambush, he told his pokemon to form a loose defensive formation, as well as to be vigilant. They went down the stairs, contiuning walking for a bit, then very suddenly it got real cold, Brandon reached for the hoodie he had in the big pocket of his pack, he put it on as he walked, he put his hand in his pockets. They contiued to walk until theh reached a room that seemed to glow blue. The Paras entered, then they did, inside the room was a slowking. He wondered what it was doing there, better yet, what they were doing there and what would happen next.

Brandon watched in amazement as Rose's Amirah was revived and even made stronger by the slowking (or so he could only assume). Then suddenly he heard the slowking in his head, he heard and SAW about how the cavern they were in was a former liar of Kyurem, a legendary pokemon. Then he was offered a moonstone and told Alice and Meghan were heading into a trap. He accepted the moonstone,

and pocketed it in a small side pocket of his bag. Then his focus turned to concern about his friends, he wanted to go right now and do something. The others claimed their stuff and then Rose suggested they hurry to help, Brandon added "Yes, let us get out of this cavern and help our friends" he gestured for his pokemon to get ready, then he looked at Slowking, said to it "Take care, thanks for the help" he smiled and gave a slight bow, a pokemon that powerful deserves respect. Then he tightened the strap on his pack, prepared to head out as soon as possible.
