As Brandon contiued to listen and watch, Misty programmed Alice's poketech with the location of the secret base, then Misty handed each of them a badge and scarf.

As Brandon took his and thanked Misty, Meghan and Rise came into the gym and came up to then. Where.Meghan began to converse with Misty. Brandon tightened the shoulder straps of his backpack, he was ready to go as soon as the others were. As soon as they left the gym, Brandon would have to have everybody hold up so he could he could give out the rest of the berries, then explain what the man with mime had said

The group left the gym and headed to the pokemon center. Once there, Meghan (who must have read his facial expressions since talking to Misty) asked if everything was ok. Brandon reached into his pack and pulled out one of the berries the man had to given to him and handed it to Meghan. On the way to meet Misty, there was a huge crowd of people, must have been like a festival or something, the group got seperated, I ran into a man with a very special Mr. Mime. The man told me he traveled all the way from Hoenn to Kanto to warn us there was a dark storm coming. One that was un avoidable no matter what he did. He gave me a bunch of these berries and told me to give them to everyone in the group, I assume they must protect us from the storm or something". Brandon finished explaining, then looked at Meghan's facial expressions, he realized that must have been a lot to take in, he hoped she got it all and understood it.

After a moment or two, Meghan replied to what Brandon said, it seemed she didn't quite understand it all yet. He didn't blame her, it was a lot to take in and he had been talking pretty fast. He took a deep breath and began to explain more clearly and calmly "All the man said was, there was a Dark storm coming soon, that would get all of us in the group and our pokemon and that no matter what we do, no matter where we go, it would find us and get us. He then gave me these berries" here pointed to the berry he still hand held out to meghan, then at the pocket where he kept the rest of them "and told me to hand one out to everyone in the group. That is all he told me". He hoped Meghan understood a little better now, because he didn't really have a better way to explain it or anything else he could tell her. That was all the info the man had given him.

Meghan took the berry out of his hand and said thanks, then said 'We will just keep our eyes open'. She still seemed a tad bit bewildered, but nothing more that could be done about it. As everyone to leave was preparing to leave, Rocky came in, talking something about 'Abra' hunting. Whatever that meant. Everyone seemee to be going outside. Brandon needed to hand out the rest of the berries while the group was still together, as everyone was going outside he shouted 'WAIT! I have something I have to give each of you!" . He couldn't see a better time or possibilty to give everyone else their berries for awhile. Besides, he didn't know when this 'storm' would be coming, it was better to give everyone the berries now while he could.

Alice had heard his shout and stopped just inside the pokemon center, she asked "What is it?". Brandon reached into the pocket of his pack that contained the berries, he pulled one out and handed it to Alice. "It is very important you take this and keep it safe and within easy reach, no time to explain, but I explained everything to Meghan as best I could already, if you want to know or have any questions, just ask her". He was a little tired of repeating himself, hence his reply. He had told Meghan, since she was the leader, she was really the only person who needed to know anyway.

*I am just going to write the walk to the bridge and the set up writing for the battle, I am busy at the moment (waiting for the bus to go to school) but I dont want to not post, so I will edit in the battle later, when I get home.*

As the group walked along, Brandon wanted to hand out the rest of the berries, but everyone seemed focused on getting to the secret base Max had. Alice began telling Meghan about what Misty had said to them.


After a short while, the group reached the bridge, they were met by a group of trainers that seemed to be motorcyclists, the leader of their group (atleast he seened to be the leader) and began talking, explaining the rules of what they need to do to cross the bridge. It seemee they each needed to battle a trainer each. Then someone from their group, presumably their strongest would have to battle leadrr and win so they could cross the bridge. As tfhis was being exlained, Brandon let out the rest of his team. Brandon began tell Skipper and tfhe rest of his team, their would be a battle. Skipper began conversing with Marshtomp, then the 2 seeked to have figured out a plan and began to teoo the rest of the team. Then a trainer from the opposing group came up and let his pokemon. Brandon's pokemon formed up and prepared for the fight. After a few moments, Skipper looked back at Brandon, seemly requesting permission to attack. To which Brandon said to all his pokemon "Ok guys, if your ready, then you may begin the attack!" Then it began.

The 1st trainer was taken down swiftly, but not without 2 of his pokemon sustaining siginifacent injuries. Within moments of beating the 1st trainer, the second one approached. Brandon said to his pokemon "Well done guys, get ready for the next one". With that his pokemon re formed up and prepared for the next attack.
