    Pokemon:

    Skipper - [16/16]

    Marshtomp - [16/16]

    Arbok - [30/30]

    Beedrill - [30/30]

    Primeape - [30/30]

    Riolu - [25/25]
    Items: Pokeball x4
    Healing counter: 1
    Points: 38

*Well that plan backfired on me lol*

As soon as Rocky made the suggestion Brandon shook his head and shouted "No, of course I am not under their control, what you think Skipper would just be standing here watching it all if I was? No he would have been on the Drowzees like fish at mealtime. I just can spot lyer when I see one, however, since you have already began putting up a fight against the Drowzees, I guess I have no choice now". Brandon immediatelly released all his pokemon and ordered them to attack at will. Skipper began issuing directions to the rest of the team, then the battle began.

The pokemon that Skipper and the rest decided should battle the Drowzee was Beedrill, since he was a bug type and would have a type advantage against the psychic type Drowzee.

Beedrill flew up to the remaining Drowzee and the fight began.

    Attacker: Beedrill
    Opponent: Drowzee
    Attacker's hp: 30
    Opponent's hp: 21
Bonus: -5 (Type: Bug v. Psychic)
    Opponent's remaining hp: 0
    Attacker's remaining hp: 14

Beedrill defeated the Drowzee with a series of sting attacks, but not before he took some hits from the Drowzee's Pyschic ray as well as a few kicks and bites from the Drowzee. Beedrill didn't really care and after the Drowzee fainted, he buzzed around happily, the rest of Brandon's pokemon cheering and congratulating him. As Brandon watched the Drowzee faint with a mixture of happiness and sadness (happy to see his pokemon so strong and able to defeat such a powerful opponent and sad because he had to attack the Drowzee instead of defend them) he said softly to no one in particular (and quiet enough for no one else in the group to hear) "I am sorry Drowzees', it was not my call, it was my team mates, I didn't want to do it, but I had no choice. I know you meant no harm and I respect your strength, so once again I am sorry that I and my pokemon had to do that to you". Then as his pokemon celebrated Brandon said to Beedrill "Well done Beedrill, you have trained hard and are very strong, you fought beautifully there and I am very proud of you, for that you have earned yourself a rest, come back!" as he said this, he withdrew every pokemon (starting with Beedrill) back into their pokeballs except for Skipper who he left out. When he had finished, he looked around at the fainted Drowzees (that were still lying on the ground) with a very sad expression on his face and remained quiet until the rest of the group spoke up.

*I will edit in the battle tommorow, it is too late tonight and I am tired from work, I just HAD to post to clear up this Brandon being controlled thing*

After they discovered the man had pick pocketed the team Brandon got angry and he screamed out to the group (but Rocky in particular) "SEE! I TOLD YOU THE MAN WAS LYING, I TOLD YOU WE SHOULD HAVE SIDED WITH THE DROWZEES', BUT NO, YOU DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME AND NOW YOU HAVE MADE US ATTACK THEM AND INJURY THEM, THEY COULD HAVE HELPED US, BUT INSTEAD NOW WE HAVE BEEN TRICKED AND ROBBED OF PRECIOUS MONEY (points), YOU SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO ME!......." after screaming this he stopped, took some deep breaths to calm himself and regain his composure. As he was doing so Alice sent them a message on their poketchs telling her Ivysaur, Aster had been taken. This immediatelly took Brandon's mind off of the Drowzee and pick pocket incident and immediatelly shifted it to 'search and rescue mode'. Rocky took off down the path, Brandon motioned for Skipper to follow him and then took off as well in the direction Alice had gone. Before he caught up with Rocky and then Rose caught up a short while later, then they were intercepted by a friendly and shy looking Drowzee, after awhile they decided to follow the Drowzee and he led them to a field with tall grass with a light coming from one area of it. It looked like an attack from a Electric type pokemon. Brandon immediatelly let out the rest of his team, then he thanked the Drowzee for its help and then he took off full speed with his pokemon in the direction of the light. He and the group arrived almost at the same time. Brandon, his pokemon charged out into the opening, Brandon saw Alice but there was no opponent in sight. Brandon thought maybe her opponent had seen them coming and took off, he ordered his pokemon to fan out and search the tall grass for them. He asked Alice "Alice, are you alright? What happened?"

*yes I know the pi is long gone abd my pokemon wont find him, but I figured the group wouldnt know this charging in so I had Brandon do this to add realisim to the situation.*

As Brandon's pokemon searched the immediate area around them for any sign of threats, it was established Alice was alright and so was her Aster. It seems shs got him back safely, he was happy about this. If anyone ever took Skipper, or any of his pokemon for that matter, Brandon knew that he would probably go into 'crazy mode' and hunt down who did it and force them to give back his pokemon by any means nessecary. He knew he would do this tor his pokemon just like his pokemon would do for him. After about 10 minutes of searching, Brandon's pokemon regrouped with their trainer, they reported no sign of anyone and that the area appeared to be secured.

A short while later the team made their way into some kind rangers station, the team searched it thoroughly, the building was indeed empty and secure, atleast for the time being. The team found rooms in the station and decided to settle down for the night, Brandon pulled out his sleeping bag and spread it out on the floor. Brandon then looked at his pokemon and asked each one if they wanted to sleep in their pokeball or stay out. They all except for Beedrill (who was the biggest of Brandon's pokemon and took up the most space in the room) wanted to stay out. Brandon took Beedrill's pokeball off his belt and pressed the button, withdrewing him. After this Brandon rummaged through his pack and found a granola bar, he ate it quickly, it being the first thing he had to eat in awhile. He also took a big sip of water from his pack, then he repacked everything back up in his pack. Then Brandon spoke to Skipper and Marshtomp telling them to get a good rest but also keep an eye out for any potential trouble and that if they ran ino trouble, to wake him up or if it was top sudden or urgent to wake him in time, to just do whatever he deemed nessecary to keep Brandon and the rest of his pokemon safe. Skipper nodded silently and passed on the message to Marshtomp, his second in command and then to the rest of Brandon's pokemon. After this most of Brandon's pokemon settled down for the night, Marshtomp and Skipper being the last ones up. Then it seemed as if Skipper and Marshtomp agreed to take turns keeping watch and as usual, Skipper seemed to volunteer to keep the first watch. Marshtomp curled up and went to sleep, leaving only Skipper to keep watch. Soon Brandon crawled into his sleeping bag and prepared to go to sleep, in the room was Rose, he didn't know if she was still awake or not. A minute or two after he had crawled into his sleeping bag, he fell into deep sleep.

At some point during the night, Brandon's senses woke him up. Brandon, still half asleep scanned the room, it was still dark and right in front of where he slept, he could see the outline of Marshtomp keeping watch, the water type's attention seemed focused on an area of the room. Brandon turned his head and looked in that direction. It was Rose, who seemed to be trying to listen to something on her poketch. Brandon yawned and knowing now there was no threat, he rolled over and went back to sleep.

He awoke abruptedly again much later, this time it was morning and sunlight streemed through the window. Brandon could hear movement downstairs, he immediatelly sat up, in front of him Skipper and Marshtomp were already up and were debating whether to wake Brandon or not, after a few moments they noticed he was up and stopped conversing, then Skipper and Marshtomp proceeded to wake up the rest of his pokemon. If it was a threat, they would need all the help they could get. Brandon got out of his sleeping bag and quickly folded it up, placing it hurriedly in his pack. Right as finished doing so, he heard Alice yell "Hello" then heard Rocky say something and then move around. Across the room from him, Rose seemed to abruptedly wake up and run to the other room where Alice and Rocky were. Brandon moved silently to the doorway of the room, he peered out in both directions to see if there was anyone around, he saw no one. Brandon looked back at his pokemon and put his fingers to his lips to signal to be as silent as possible, then he motioned for his pokemon to follow him and quiey slipped out of the door, he made his way stealthily to Alice and Rocky's room, his pokemon following silently, single file. Brandon peered into the room, he saw Alice, Rocky and Rose gathered around, but he saw no threats. He walked into the room and made his way to them, he asked silently "Do we know who is downstairs? If so, are they friend or foe?" behind him his pokemon entered the room and began to gather around him. Skipper looking at the 4 of them (Brandon, Rocky, Rose and Alice) and listened carefully, trying to gather as much information as possible, while Marshtomp and Arbok kept watch of their flank.

The group didn't have time to converse for long, because a voice downstairs shouted for them to come out and show themselves or else they would call for police back up. Brandon knew then they had no choice but to go down, they couldn't afford for the police to be called, then they would really be done for. It sounded like there was only 1 ranger downstairs, a female ranger. If it was just one maybe they could talk the ranger into letting them leave or else could over power them. Brandon was about to tell the group this when Alice picked up her things, called in most of her pokemon and then headed towards downstairs. Brandon immediatelly called back Skipper and Marshtomp. They would be a dead giveaway if the ranger was informed of the group and their descriptions. Then Brandon motioned for the rest of his pokemon to follow him and told them to act as friendly as possible and not to attack unless threated upon or else he told them to. Then he began walking silently towards the stairs, he peered down to see how many Rangers there was, his intial thoughts were right, there was only 1 ranger and it was female ranger. Alice was already talking to the ranger and had managed to get her to lower her walkie, a good sign, they could probably talk their way out of this. Brandon now reached the steps and began going down them, pokemon in tow, he was joined a few seconds later by the rest of the group. After they showed up the ranger gave then a lecture about how they should have called first. After her lecture she asked if anyone had a guy there, Alice told her no. Then ranger began to talk about the men and then finally saying how they needed to leave and that they should be careful in the future because they could be fine or arrested for what they did. Then they were escorted outside, which was a relief for Brandon. Brandon watched the ranger leave, then said aloud to the group "Well that was a relief, thank god it was only one.... Good job Alice at talking the ranger down".

After they left the cabin, the group began discussing a video that Meghan had apparently sent the night before, he had been too tired to hear his poketch beep, he looked at his poketch which showed he had 1 new video message, he looked at the time it arrived, it was around 12 am, Brandon reckoned that must have been what woke him up the first time, when Rose was listening to something on her poketch. Brandon watched the video message now, everything seemed like Meghan was ok and making great progress until the end of the video where she could be heard telling her pokemon to get down and stay down, before the message abruptly ended. Brandon hoped Meg was alright, he knew there was no way they could find her or help her anyway at this point, he knew she was the strongest of them and she knew how to get out of trouble.

A few minutes later the group began walking down the route once more, along the way the group tried to figure out their poketchs, Brandon wondered why such a complex device didn't come with some sort of instruction manual to explain how to use its many features.

Soon the group came to a bridge that had a crowd gathered around it, Rocky asked if they should battle them, to which Rose said they shouldn't in case they run into any trouble. Brandon agreed "Rose is right, we shouldn't battle right now, our teams' are in bad shape as it is, we need to conserve what uninjured pokemon we still have left in case of trouble. In any event we should definitely make sure our strongest, battle experienced pokemon remain healthy, because if we run into trouble, they will the pokemon that will be able to help get us out of a jam the most. I say we should just try to find a way to sneak around them, stealthily of course and avoid any and all encounters, atleast until we see Brock's contact and then get our pokemon to the Lavender city pokemon center to be healed."

The group decided to go around and Alice and Rocky sent out pokemon to scout out a path through. They found one, but it was muddy. Brandon called in the rest of his pokemon and carefully waded through the mud. Once through, they reached a checkpoint with a fence, the team moved in, Brandon in the rear so he would have a chance to react if their was trouble. There was none as one of the 2 guards got angry at the mud they dragging in and just allowed them to go straight through. They continued on until they reached a bridge which had a crowd gathered and a pokemon sleeping on it. The bridge was busted and could not be used. Police told them to turn around and go back. Brandon thought there must be another way into Lavender, turning back would cost too much time, they had only a day or so left to get to Lavender and clear their names before the pcs were up. He said "Guys, surely there must another path to Lavender city from here, what do you say we spread out and try to find one?" . He knew finding a path was the wisest choice, they simply could not afford to turn around.

Brandon listened as Alice talked to one of the police officers and then told the their options. They were going to head for a little town called Rifure Village a fairly short walk away. Rocky tried to message someone for a ride, but they soon realized they probably wouldn't reach the town for a couple hour. The group then set off for the town. As they began walking, Brandon let out Mankey, Ekans and Riolu so they could walk beside him, even without Skipper or Marshtomp, the leaders of the team, they automatically formed a decent defensive formation, with Mankey offering Ekans and Riolu positions, since he was the most battle experienced of the 3. The group continued walking and soon they had just about reach the town. Suddenly someone spoke from behind them, it was detective. The guy also said not to make any sudden movements, but Brandon hardly heard this, his mind went into automatic mode, luckily his hand in his pocket and he was in the center of the group, making it a little harder to see him clearly, so he was able to very slowly move his hand to Beedrill's pokeball and pressed the button, he then moved his hand slowly to Skipper's pokeball but did not press the button, he wanted to save them as a last resort, as they would give them away for sure. Brandon kept his head down and remained quiet and kept walking, hoping the detective wouldnt stop them or that the situation could be resved by someone else in the group peacefully. Beside him Beedrill came out of his pokeball and fell into the formation that Mankey, Ekans and Riolu had formed and now tightened. Mankey and Ekans kept a careful eye on the detective, ready to react if he made any sudden movements, but did not attack or make any threatening motions. Riolu and Ekans followed suit.
