So, since I don't think I will get any more battles this week, I might as well share my allmighty mono water team as Sarah recommended me to do:

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 164 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance
- Substitute
- Bounce

Gyarados was the first pick, providing Intimidate and some important coverage with Bounce. This is the standard bulky Dragon Dance set, and I really enjoy using it. Substitute is surprisingly good, and can easily be set up against bulky Pokemon going for status attacks, as status does not break through Substitute.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Foul Play
- Thunder Wave

For a mono water team, I have always thought Rotom-W is maybe the best. It is not weak to Electric, which is kind of big on a mono water team. I like using Thunder Wave over the regular Will-O-Wisp, as it gives the element of surprise and lets me go before them with Volt Switch and everything else. Foul Play is another special tweak, and I find it great for hurting physical attackers.

Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Sludge Bomb
- Scald
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin

Tentacruel gives me a Rapid Spinner and an entry hazard in Toxic Spikes. It is also not weak to Grass, which is a plus. Scald and Toxic Spikes are just basic STAB attacks. I really like Tentacruel with Liquid Ooze, as it shuts down Mega Venusaur, because Liquid Ooze makes it take damage instead of gain health when using Giga Drain.

Keldeo @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Calm Mind
- Substitute

Keldeo is one of the best water-types in OU, and I really like using it. This is the standard Substitute and Calm Mind set. I didn't get to use Clam Mind that much, but Substitute came in handy several times. Secret Sword is one of the great things about Keldeo, as you damage with your Special Attack, but your opponent takes damage based on Defense, and not Special Defense. It is very good for breaking throguh special walls like Chansey.

Azumarill @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Knock Off

Assault Vest Azumarill is a personal favorite of mine. In many peoples eyes, it is not that good, but I love it. Assault Vest gives Azumarill more special bulk to live hits that the opponent does not expect it to live. The Fairy-types coverage also proved to be crucial for my team, as one of the members I battled had a mono dark team. Knock Off was also very good for well, knocking things off.

Sharpedo @ Sharpedonite
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Crunch
- Protect
- Earthquake

Sharpedo claims the last spot in my team. Although I have not had much success with Mega Sharpedo in UU, it was awesome in monotype. Earthquake was an important coverage move on it, and was a great help in beating a mono poison team. Using Sharpedo is easy, Protect turn one to get a speed boost, mega evolve turn two, and hit like a truck.

That was a small recap of my mono water team for this weeks monotype competition in the Showdown category, although it seems very well built I built it in like 5 mins without any prior experience to monotype :P
