I just want to enter the pixel art contest and eat curry tbh.

But of course! Welcome aboard! I'll sort out a rank & signature for you as soon as my computer stops being a prat.

Trying not to read the post above was difficult; but I try to keep myself in the dark as much as possible with people's appeal, so I can judge them all at the same time and therefore on a fair and level playing field (for example, I might be more of a harsh or lenient judge depending on my mood - not that I'm usually anything but happily chilled).

And @Suicune's Fire; I wish I had more time for PxR in the week! But what with near 12 hour working days including travel time, plus a solid 7/8 hours sleep leaves me only 4 hours to do anything else. And I have to ablute and eat two meals in that time. And then what little free time I have left, I usually end up wanting to do loads of different stuff (games, videos, PxR; just to name three). So hence why I'm usually on for about 30 minutes max on a week day, if at all.

I know that feel. I'm doing 5x 13 hour days on 6 hours sleep if I'm lucky. ;_; At one of the largest tourist attractions in Britain...

Other than that, your appeal was a leap of faith, with that evolution. It's a brave move (one that I wouldn't have thought of and probably wouldn't have the guts to do it) and let's hope the risk pays off. The use of the vacuum to capture the theme was definitely quite out-of-the-box IMHO (because I'm expecting some appeals to have biological growth or something along those lines).

Just be wary about using digital effects, since you're not supposed to use anything that would give you a digital advantage over traditional art.
