    Destroy the Godmodder: Pokemon Crossroads edition!

    WELCOME, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN...TO DESTROY THE GODMODDER, POKEMON CROSSROADS EDITION!

    OK, I admit, I have been hyping this up a little bit. I'm not saying this is gonna be the be-all end-all of the F&G section but this kind of game has been big in the past. BIG big. Henceforth, here it is, fresh and new for PxR.

    There IS a plot, but it is a simple one: The Godmodder has invaded PxR! A godmodder, by definition, is a nigh-invincible jerk who can do whatever, whenever, and nothing can stop him, period. Good news, though: The Godmodder doesn't live up to the definition 100%, by some mercy, but he's incredibly close! And before you think he can be a cool guy, this guy's one and only purpose in life is to make people Ragequit by being an overpowered, unkillable jerkface! It's literally his job description, and he takes it as far as he possibly can, which is VERY far! His goal is to make everyone Ragequit and destroy PxR FOREVER! Now, with that excuse plot out of the way, ARE YOU READY TO DESTROY THE GODMODDER?!

    Before I go on further, Credit to the game idea to TwinBuilder and TT2000 on the Official Minecraft Forums. You dudes rock!

    GENERAL RULES:


    0: GM fiat overrides all except Rule 00. If I say NO, then NO. Please be reasonable.

    00: Follow all PxR rules. If this was not obvious without me stating it, well it's obvious now, but either way you do not have an excuse. Your GM is a Moderator, the banhammer will come swift if it's gotta. In particular: even if you are not banned from the site permanently, a ban here is a ban for life. Please, just listen.

    01: In order to damage the Godmodder, you must use the MOST original, creative attacks possible that cannot possibly be Godmodded! Damaging the Godmodder at all is very hard, so don't be discouraged!

    02: The Godmodder is extremely evasive and extremely powerful. Despite the previous rule, do not EXPECT your attack to work. He doesn't live up to the definition 100%, but he gets very close.

    03: If you DO damage the Godmodder, the Godmodder will do something to prevent it from working ever again: This is the Curse of Repetitiveness. The Godmodder himself isn't affected by it, nor are his summons. Repeating things in general isn't going to get you far.

    04: Despite the goal of the game being to DESTROY the Godmodder, if you feel contrary you can join his side, or just have your own thing for whatever reason, you can do that. However, once your alignment is set, only a dramatic betrayal can make you change sides.

    05: In addition to just going full Attack on the Godmodder, you can summon Entities! These can be drawn from wherever you feel like, from pop culture to video games to your own imagination. The exception is, nothing from the F&G section. Please. Otherwise go bonkers.

    06: You can also charge things for a period of time! You can have two active charges at once, and each one gains one extra for each post you make. The Charges can substantially aid Entity or Attack power. There is a maximum, though: To start, you can only charge for 50 posts max. This can increase as the game goes on and as I see fit. Or decrease. Trying to charge beyond this limit will fail, and if you try to increment your charge by more than 1 a turn, your charge will only count as having 1 for an increment. (Charging to a cap of 50 but incrementing by 5 equals a 10 post charge.) More detailed rules below.

    07: This game has long been associated with Roleplay, but this is NOT A ROLEPLAY. Or not entirely, anyways. In any case, do not feel the need to create a backstory or have an SU ready. If you have some RP thing in mind, coolio, but if you don't eh. I don't blame you.

    08: Basic Posting limits! You get two posts a turn! ONLY TWO! Nothing can expand this. In addition, they can't be Doubleposts, or else I discount the latter entirely. You may also Nullpost, or have a post dedicated to asking a question in case you run out of them, but please keep these to a minimum. I may make a thread for discussion on this if need be-otherwise PM me. You also cannot reserve or edit posts to change later-otherwise those posts will be discounted as well! While I'm at it, you CAN do multiple things per turn, but the more you do the less effective each action is.

    09: BE WARNED. This game gets friggin' complicated. Fighting something nigh-invincible tends to be complicated. Specific details about some of this stuff can be found below, but if anything seems too complicated, here's my advice: DON'T TRY TO DO ALL OF THIS AT ONCE. Just focus on attacking the Godmodder or his flunkies for the first few turns and don't think about plot or complicated shenanigans like that.

    10: In case you heard about this game from else-ware...I assure you this game does not fall into the Canon DTG stuff. Mercifully. That plot is already pretty tangled, I'll admit wholly.

    CHARGING RULES:
    Spoiler:

    00: You can have up to two charges at once. Each post, each charge you make goes up by one.

    01: I already said this, but charging beyond the cap causes stuff to fail instead of work. The Cap is 50, as of right now.

    02: Just letting you know now, Charge attacks are unlikely to affect the Godmodder. Even less than the usual chance, in fact. One-shot original attacks work the best on him! Save this for his flunkies.

    03: What a charge can do is unlimited, but it can basically be divided into making your entities awesome and making attacks do ridiculous damage. You can also buff pre-existing Entities, summon artifacts to wield, or even possibly introduce whole new game concepts, or just shuffle up your RP stuff, if you're into that jazz.

    04: All of this falls under GM approval. Don't exploit this. Please. If you have something planned that has the potential to be particuarily disruptive, PM me first. This game is DRIVEN by the players for the most part.

    05: 1 point of charge per turn not cutting it? There's a way around this, but it involves teamwork! Each post, you may send out two assists, which are basically an extra point of charge! You can distribute the assists however you want, with the (hopefully obvious) exception that the assist cannot target you. You only get two per post, so only four per turn from one guy.

    06: If you get assists, you may distribute it however you wish amongst your charges, but keep track of who gave you what and what goes where, please.

    07: Charges go Stale if they're not used immediately. Once you hit the cap on charges, people in past games have been known to hold back the charge for a period. Unless there is a good reason, I will not allow this here. Period. After the charge has hit cap, you have 3 GM Updates to use it-otherwise it goes Stale, and cannot be used. I would have a rough idea in mind of what your charge is gonna do, but you only HAVE to post stats when the charge is unveiled.

    08: Nothing in this game can remove charge points. Not even the Godmodder can. Rest assured that your charges will go on in continued forward motion.


    ENTITY RULES:

    01: Entities can be ANYTHING, as described above...With an exception: NOTHING from the Forum Games or RP section can be used, OK? Anything else is game, just not stuff already here. Please and thank you.

    02: There are exceptions for very broad things, but if an Entity bites the dust or leaves, it cannot be resummoned even if it is alive.

    03: Cures of Repetitiveness demands that you do not spam entities. They will grow weaker as a whole if you do so. The only way to ward off the Curse of Repetitiveness is to not be repetitive, and thus not spam entities.

    04: Entities can have loads of special mechanics. You decide what they do, as long as it's not gamebreaking. I'll nerf anything that needs nerfing.

    05: You can do crazy stuff with this, MAJOR stuff, but you better PM me it first if you think it'll be disruptive, please.

    06: You must post Entity stats on summon. Otherwise I go by a standard template. The bare minimum on Entity stats is HP and damage-anything else MUST be laid down on summon and explained to the fullest extent possible. If you had cool mechanics, post them when you post the Entity summon. Please. If it's lengthy, use Spoilers.


    11: One final warning! More mechanics can pop up over time! This rules page WILL be updated! Check back.

    Made an account just for this. Wait. Not canon? That means that- I don't HAVE to have a character. Heh. Heheheheh. (I'm from the main game, BTW).

    First off, I give everyone infinite MP so no attack will fail because of "Not enough MP." Then I call in the founder of the forum and make him start a ban process on the Godmodder, just like Criticsquid from the original Destroy the Godmodder. Finally, I begin a new charge.

    I literally just walk up and try to stab the godmoder. Like, no tricks or anything. I just take a knife and stab him. Surely the godmoder wasn't expecting something so simple.

    I join. I summon a Lv. 100 Pikachu that the Godmodder dispatches easily using Earthquake. Then I summon another one, and he does the same thing. This continues for a while until I've summoned like a hundred of them. The Godmodder has used Earthquake so much that it inadvertently turns into a Fissure. He falls in, and considering Fissure is normally a OHKO, the Godmodder doesn't come out unscathed.

    Anyway, I jump in, landing and doing a particularly impressive front flip. Some nearby judges rate it a 9 / 10. I then use MARKSMAN, in which I increase my general aim temporarily. While not a 100% increase, it does improve the general accuracy of attacks by a slim margin. Using my newfound accuracy buffs, I attempt to BACKUP BASH the GODMODDER! BACKUP BASH already has a poor accuracy, so hopefully the usage of MARKSMAN improved this. Should it hit, BACKUP BASH… well, normally would deal For Massive Damage. But since the GodModder can only take 1 damage per attack… well, yeah. Let's see how this works.

    Not enough MP is no longer a valid block excuse, K. A post in and that's already thrown into it.

    As for your summon of the forum's creator, HKim, The Godmodder just blocks your summon attempt entirely! His powers are too much for the Godmodder to want to deal with at this stage! The only way HKim's gonna come is if he comes on his own will!

    You stab the Godmoder, who is not the Godmodder! The Godmoder is Actually invincible but totally neutral, so he doesn't even care about a simple stabbing.

    The Godmodder is immune to Ground-type attacks because he can fly!

    For the record: The canon games have stated that there are multiple godmodders...BUt the Godmodder is THE best godmodder, bar none, hence the proper noun.

    I use the move Gravity, which blocks the Godmodder's flight and makes it so he is no longer immune to Ground-type moves! I then repeat the Earthquake/Fissure attack.

    ...Or do I? The Godmodder is too busy to realize that, amidst the sea of Pikachus, the person repeating the attack was a copy of me! I send a legion of Ice Pokemon to create a Sheer Cold powerful enough to freeze the Godmodder permanently in a tomb of ice.
