What is that Flareon supposed to be? xD It kinda reminds me of a Sableye because the blue in its fur tufts strike me as gems, haha.

To be honest, I'm not really sure. This user really likes Flareons though and is constantly requesting them. Here is the base reference they gave me. I tried to follow it as best I could.

Nicely done! :D I think this is your best recolour. The light brown's outline colour does clash with the dark brown next to the belly, so you might want to make that streak darker, but aside from that, it looks pretty good. :]

Yeah! It was pretty simple. I'm probably going to practice recolors some more. Though I've been trying to make sure that the colors are all the same distance apart as they were on the original color scheme. I think it helps.

It would have worked, but the issue is that the brown is a lot darker than the previous yellow, which means that it clashes with the belly colour. The belly colour's outline colour clashes with the brown and creates a "banding" effect. You can fix this by simply making the belly's outline colour darker than the brown. In other words, use the brown's outline colour for the belly outline where the belly connects with the brown. Get me? :] Try it and see if you know what I mean.

As a general rule of thumb, make sure that if you have a dark colour and a light colour next to each other, the light colour's darkest colour is DARKER than the dark colour. Otherwise, banding and clashing.
