The following is a true story that happened earlier this year.

I was in an after school competition last year. I was paired up with some of my classmates and we were given a task and.invent something to complete it. We were going to be scored on the quality ad effort, just like any other competition. My team had to incorporate video games and theather, following the plot of Pandora's Box.

I was in charge of the development of spin-off game. I planned to make a hack of Kid Icarus for the Game Boy. I read up on tutorials, lessons, the whole nine yards, and then began to work on my masterpiece.

Well that December, my family decided to visit my grandmother, however it would cost me some school days and two practice sessions. I told the team of my absence and promised them a completed spin-off game upon my return. Well, I did finish it, but when I returned in January, and attended the first session of the new year, it turns out over my absence, they have dropped me from team and replaced me, saying that I wasn't worth their time.

Well, I gave a big, hardy "f@$& you" and left. They continued without me, or my rom hack. On the night on the competition, the team was disqualified for not reaching one requirement, a working video game. I still rub it in their faces about how if they never kicked me out, they would have won. >:D
