xD Oh my gosh, that's like my mother too. She signed up to this clothes store's emailing list and they email her, like, five times a day. xD Lol you'd give them to starving children TO EAT?! Also you can totally do that! I'm sure someone would do that in your area. :] Or at least to homeless people!
