I was wondering what a basic "Mew-Rats" decklist might look like? It looks like a fairly cheap deck to build and I think that it might be nice to have something else to use besides my tried-and-true Night March deck.

Though Raticate may be a cheap card, the problem is finding a full set! Those who have them generally know it has potential, and the card's value is so insignificant it can be hard to trade evenly for it alone.

I've attached a screenshot of an old list I tried out, but it's just one way you could try playing it. Dimension Valley + Mew is the most efficient way to use Super Fang, with poison from Hypnotoxic Laser taking the kill in between turns. Since you don't need more than 10 damage from poison, Virbank City Gym isn't necessary.

This deck can be played a variety of ways, among them being with Victini-EX and Victory Piece as your ACE-SPEC card (to combat Virizion-EX), Shaymin-EX for 1 Energy Revenge Blast attacks from Mew-EX late game, Minun from Legendary Treasures/Dark Explorers (or Spinda from Primal Clash) to Electrishower (or Uproar) for a number of finishing kills if you don't have Forretress or Hypnotoxic Lasers, Golbat from Phantom Forces to take Sneaky Bite KOs on damaged opponents, I've even tried it with Tornadus-EX so that Mew-EX can attack with Blow Through on turn 1.

Whatever you try it with, I would suggest a 4-4 Raticate line (since you want to swarm them so your opponent does not hinder you by targeting them with Lysandre) and 3 Mew-EX with 4 Dimension Valley and 4 Double Colorless Energy. The best way to take direct KOs is Hypnotoxic Laser, but there are a number of abilities and attacks that can deal 10 damage to clean up your Super Fang hits.

If you play this deck in Expanded (which it will be sent to after September 1st), make sure to include a thick count of Level Ball so you can search your Rats or Jirachi-EX out.

Winona is also a great (new) card for a Raticate deck, as it lets you search out Rattata and Raticate both, meaning you can rely less on Ultra Ball.

Shaymin-EX is also great if you play this currently, the photo is just of a list from before Roaring Skies so keep that set and cards like Trainer's Mail in mind!
