Do you want children?

I seem to be in a bit of a minority among the posters here when I say I straight up cannot conceive of a future where I do not have kids. I don't want a lot of kids (two, maaaaaaaaybe three at the most) but I want them very very badly the second I'm married and stable enough to. I love dealing with kids, I love interacting with kids, I get along with them and they get along with me, and I want kids of my own.

I'd like kids, but definitely not now. I'm only 21 and I've got my whole life ahead of me. I'd rather wait until I have myself a place I can call home and a stable job. I have nothing against people who don't want kids, that's your choice and I'm not going to force you to change your mind. I actually had a Spanish teacher in high school who didn't want kids, and a couple years after I graduated, she was pregnant with her first kid. I'd be more shocked that you told me you didn't want kids and then ended up having kids than telling me you wanted kids and deciding otherwise, tbh. Like Neo said though, kids are a huge responsibility, and I'd rather be able to support them and give them whatever they want (within reason) instead of constantly having to tell them "no, we can't afford it right now, I'm sorry" all the time.
