I Don't Have Many Friends

I don't have a lot of friends, but the few that I have are very good ones. As I've found out, friends come and go throughout the years and it's impossible to hold onto all of them as time and distance separates people, but every now and then you find new people that share similar interests and are decent people also.

I seem to be decent at keeping friends that I made during my years of junior high. We still communicate, and hang out around a weekend per month.

A good amount of people had to go, though. Toxic relationships can make or break you!

However, I need to branch my relationships out by a good margin. As my interests broaden, I need to increase my audience my desire to learn more, and yearning for relationships in which I can act more of the best version of myself. Not to mention fostering more sustainable relationships for in case something drastic happens, and vice versa. I seem to realize that I cannot do everything by myself in an effective manner without paying a great deal of quality time away from more important matters of life. It also seems to help when you have someone you completely trust around upon realization that I have lived in my head for too long.

As the saying goes, "show me your friend, and I will show you your future".
