Beware! Pokemon GO Beta Scam Alert!

You may have seen posts on Facebook and other social media sites about joining a close beta for Pokemon GO. Any Pokemon fan would love to be one of the first to try out Pokemon GO. Though you may want to be careful about these offers as it could lead to your personal information being stolen.
There have been a few Pokemon GO Beta sign up roaming around the internet. People who signed up for this fake beta may end up having their personal information stolen and download malicious software.
In response to these reports of fake betas, it seems as if the official Japanese Pokemon site has issued an announcement stating that there have been no official word about Pokemon GO beta testing. They also advise fans to stay tune in the future to official outlets for more information.

Some people. =/ I hope no one fell for this scam. I heard about this on Tumblr, and I was very disappointed.

I actually saw one of these links on Tumblr. I was going to click on it but figure that if this was true then all the Pokemon sites (like PXR) would be reporting on it. I eventually saw this news and figure it was good I didn't do it.
