All Just a Dream...?

I don't usually remember my dreams anymore. I used to all the time though. I remember for as long as I can remember, I've had dreams about being in a car that crashed into water. It's not like a recurring dream though because most of the time it's different. One time, I remember being on my school bus, and there was a way we would go every day to go to school that passed a lake, and in the dream we crashed into that lake. I've had a few different dreams about crashing off of bridges. The one of crashing into the lake on the school bus was about a year ago, and was not only the last time I had a dream like this, but also around the time that I stopped remembering my dreams for the most part.

I've heard rumors that you tend to remember your dreams better if you drink of cup of water before going to bed and if you lie on your back as you're going to sleep. I don't know if that's true or not, but it could be worth experimenting with.

I also remember keeping a dream journal really helped, because memories of dreams fade away within minutes of waking up. My only thing with that is my dreams are so weird that the dream journal I had going quickly became the weirdest and frankly most embarrassing thing I've had to keep hidden.

So… I had another dream last night but it didn't have much to do with PXR. I sometimes have dreams geared towards roleplays I'm in so when I tell this story, some of it won't make sense because either: a) it's not supposed to, like usual, or b) it's a reference to a roleplay that you aren't in. Anyway, without further ado, here's my dream!

So, it starts out in France, but not just anywhere in France. Sceaux, France. Aka, the home of the infamous Kadic Academy. Bell rings and there's a girl covering her head under a pillow in her bed as her laptop beeps. A face of a Victini Gijinka pops up on the screen, one of the five AIs for the virtual world known as Lyoko. Next thing you know, he's screaming "WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP YOU'LL BE LATE FOR SCIENCE CLASS!!" The girl groans a bit louder then throws her pillow at the computer, stumbles out of bed, gets dressed and leaves. She goes to the cafeteria and sits down and then (as usual when I get five minutes into my dreams) everything goes weird. The entire cafeteria just went into technicolor and these two guys (that I bet @AWA1997 and @Awasfriend can guess who they are just from that much description) just come strutting in in leotards covered in sequins and begin to do the disco to what sounds like the cha cha slide except it's got like gay lyrics so it's saying stuff like "slide and show your gay" and "let the rainbow smooth". Then this really masculine voice yells "Mikey! Rox!" And then there's sound that sounds like a record scratching and I just look to the entrance to the cafeteria and this British guy is also in a freaking leotard but he's got a tutu as well is standing there. He just glared at them for a minute then said, "That's not how you dance. Let a true Englishman show you how it's done." And they busted out in Gangem style except it had the gay lyrics again so it was like "Oppa Gaygem style." So this goes on for a minute and then the scene shifts and I'm in Disney World and this chick in a top hat goes running by chanting "Sweet tea! Sweet tea! Sweet tea!" Then a guy about the same size as the girl with a top hat soaked in blood runs after her yelling, "YOU WANKER!! WARM TEA AT TEA TIME IS THE BEST!!" Then this lady with a white top hot follows after them sighing silently as a half wraith follows beside her saying, "Do they usually do this?" The woman just kind of nods and continues on. The scene shifts again and suddenly I'm in the infamous Trick House and I see my character Sloane holding Dylan as a toy togetic and they are approaching a lake. And then a mermaid jumps out. And at first they're all in awe and stuff and then they realize who it is and Dylan starts laughing and the mermaid (who is Fox) gets completely pissed and just smacks Dylan with her tail, and he goes flying and busts out of the trick house yelling, "IM FREE!!" Only to hit like a TV screen effect thing and then the screen just cracks and goes to static and then the dream ended.

And here I thought I was the only one that had dreams of mermaids. Still, that was definitely a weird one. o.O

Anyway, I'm going to try the drink water and lie on back thing tonight to see if I can trigger a dream and see if that's true (unfortunately, I just read that drinking alcohol before going to bed isn't a good idea, and I JUST had a beer :P). I just hope it's not another one of those "you got an F on this final exam! You're going to fail the course!" but oh wait... you already graduated! -kind of dream. I don't bother trying to remember those, but if it's another weird one, I'll try to write it down and share, regardless of how weird it is. It's only fair.

BRUH mermaids, while not frequent visitors, do show up in my dreams from time to time.

Well, alcohol… it depends. It actually really helps you go to sleep but it makes you sleep heavier than usual (if I remember my alcohol facts from Law Education correctly) so you're less likely to remember your dream. However, this may not be correct so don't hold me on it.
