It seemed these two mages were needed where 'Maddie' was, and a fire ball wouldn't help them get there faster. 'I don't think so,' Bernie thought as he opened portals sending the fire balls to the ocean where nothing would get damaged.

"I heard Paris under attack," a boy told his friend. "Yeah it's a mage said to be drowning people in tea."
'That must have been why Kritana left,' she thought as she dove into the ocean causing a small vortex as she transported herself to a swimming pool near the action. Using the water from the pool for wings she shot toward the place building were falling. Finding one propped up by a pice of Earth she dove under it. "How may I assist?"

Bernie sent the rubble to the ocean again. 'So he thinks hiding his appearance will keep us from finding out, to bad I already saw you, Marx.'

The Queen of Shaymin

Maddie Hatter
Madness Mage Third Incarnation
Paris, France
Affected RP'ers: @AWA1997 @Awasfriend
Maddie growled in frustration, sending tendrils after John until she felt herself starting to sink. Maddie raised her hand into the air and slammed tea into the ground below her, forcing herself out. Using the cup and saucer John had thrown at her earlier, Maddie used her magic to enlarge the saucer and held it in the air. She stepped onto it and smirked, the object now almost like a magic carpet.
Terra slammed both her fists into the ground, earth slamming and tipping the saucer. Terra straightened a little, unsure if she had caused any damage when a giant tea cup suddenly slammed down on her. It lifted then slammed down again and again. Terra tried to focus on the ground in an effort to halt the cup in some way but the repeated attacks would not allow for it. She was on the verge of following Madeline when Haruka dove under the cup and twisted his space ring, warping both he and Terra a little ways away.
"Are you okay?" Haruka asked, his white hair hanging over his pale sweated beaded face. Terra coughed a few times and gasped for air. She nodded a little, feeling Life's spell already starting to do its stuff. She'd have to remember to thank her later. Terra looked back towards Maddie, who, in an attempt to destroy everyone, was now resorting to knocking down buildings.
"We can't stop her. She makes Madder look like a Saturday morning cartoon villain," Terra muttered as she stood up. Tapping her foot on the ground, a strip of earth rose to stop a building from falling on she and Haruka. "Maybe Castor has had more luck?"

"Yeah." Rowan said, putting on an 'i don't want to cry so I'll put on a brave face' expression. Making sure his bag was secure over his shoulder, Rowan twisted his Space ring.
In an instant he appeared on a quiet side street in Edmonton, Canada. The capital of the Alberta Province. He figured it was good place to start. Large enough that they wouldn't stand out and comfortably far away from New York City. It occurred to him he hadn't said which city he'd been planning to go too and wondered if Araxie would know where to go.

Initially Marx smiled at the sight of the cards collapsing, but his expression turned to one of rage when he saw Someone carrying Madder toward another person. He knew two things: only a mage could've kept Madder alive from that barrage of attacks, and a mage would only trust another mage in a time of need like this.
He had only seconds until these mages would escape. Flipping over in the air, Marx dove downward, streaking toward the place where the three mages were converging. With a yell of anger he threw a blast of fire between Castor and the other two mages, creating a wall of flame between them.
With a small explosion Marx landed amongst his wall of flame, sending rubble in all directions. Increasing the flames to obscure his figure, marx shot two more blasts of searing flame, on toward castor and the other toward Maddox and Madder. He knew trying to take on multiple mages at once likely wouldn't end well, but he was relying on the need to protect the unconscious Madder to inhibit Maddox's ability to fight, especially with the soldiers all around them. Besides, even if he only killed or captured one of these guys, he could count that as a win.

Maddox had nearly reached Castor when Marx crashed down. Maddox's eyes widened in fear and tears began to trace down his cheeks. He flinched up and waited for the flames to engulf him, but one again he never felt their heat. He saw a portal had opened up to capture the fireballs. Maddox clutched Madder close to him, the previous incarnation still recovering from the shield. He began to panic, the wall of fire preventing him from reaching Castor.
"Why? WHY?" he shouted, tears coming down his cheeks. "We just want to go home and you're trying to kill us. Why won't you let us go home?"

Michael raised his eyebrows at Brooke. "Another Mage I assume? Right now we're stalling. It would be one thing if we could kill her, but she needs to return to our world alive." Haruka rubbed his head.
"If Madder or Madeline could get here then we'd be golden. We're screwed if that doesn't happen." Haruka paused and caught Michael and Terra watching him. "Yes, I did see that in a vision. If there's no aid, she will destroy the world."
Maddie raised her saucer higher into the air as brown clouds began to cloud over Paris. Suddenly scalding hot coffee began to rain from the sky. Terra covered the group in a sheet of earth, but the sizzling noise made it evident that the tea would eventually burn though.

Castor saw the figure, as obscured as he was, in the flames. He summoned a large piece of stone from the ground and smashed it into the wall of flame, trying to snuff it out, at least partially. "Let us go, we don't belong in this world, we are trying to get back to ours, and your world is in danger as long as we're all here." he said

With the shield breaking apart, I could see Maddox was trying to hold it together, but he wasn't doing such a bang up job. In the meanwhile, him being distracted with doing that made my job of keeping everyone else alive and relatively pain-free was a lot easier. He still hadn't figured me out from the other cops in the area, so at least my cover hadn't been blown yet.
"What the hell is all that!?" one of the soldier shouted, trying to talk above all the mayhem.
Obviously a lot of mage work. Well, to me it was obvious. To humans, this must have looked like the biggest, fiery mess of pyrotechnics and supernatural anarchy they've ever seen that made the Ghostbusters movie look like a sparkler in comparison.
"Why? WHY?" Maddox shouted. "We just want to go home and you're trying to kill us. Why won't you let us go home?"
Well, probably because you were trying to kill everyone else. That'd be my first guess.
I did a quick survey of everyone in the area, and the humans were fine. Some of them were still in complete shock that they should have died when they didn't, but otherwise it had worn off as they left the area or just simply got back into the fighting.
"Come on..." I muttered, hoping this would be enough to either finish Maddox off or at least get him out of here. "You know it's over..."
I was sure this wasn't the only place I was needed either, but in case Maddox broke his containment and started attacking people once again, I needed to be ready with the revivals. But hopefully he'd be put down and I could help with revivals elsewhere.
There certainly was no shortage of dead people around, I knew that for sure.

The Known Stranger
Marx Hunfree
Fire mage (posing as superhuman)
Glasgow, Scotland
Affected RP'ers: @Neo Emolga @AWA1997 @Awasfriend Noblejanobii
A few muttered curse words escaped Marx as portals negated his fireballs. Not so much because they had stopped his attack, but he didn't know who'd created them. He didn't know the powers of any of these mages. For all he knew there were more in the crowd he didn't know about. But he couldn't focus on that now, not in the middle of a fight like this one.
Through the noise he heard a cry, a plea, as to why he was attacking them. He made no reply, feeling annoyed that they would think words would convince him now that the fight had started. Then a shadow crossed over him, looking up he saw a large portion of rock and stone smashing down onto his wall of flame, partially snuffing it out. On one side of him, the side toward maddox, remained blocked by flame, but facing castor Marx was suddenly without cover, apart from the mound of rubble that remained of the boulder. Immediately the flames at marx's feet rose onto his body, covering his physical features and making him quite difficult to look at directly. Hopefully he wouldn't be recognized by the mage -he hadn't even met most of the mages- but even so it wouldn't be hard to remember one or two of his physical features.
Turning back to the offensive, Marx pointed toward the Boulder's rubble and a fiery red glow appear from beneath it. The chunks of rocks exploded outward in deadly trajectories, pushed onward by the explosive heat from beneath them. Marx aimed a few at Maddox, just to keep them busy protecting the unconscious mage, but the majority he aimed for Castor. As Stone and flame rained down toward the mage, Marx let loose a terrible laugh of joy, the laugh of one madly happy at a chance to attack and maybe even destroy his opponent.

Rowan relaxed and smiled as Araxie appeared. Despite the current threat to the mages, he couldn't help feel excited to at the prospect of staying by her side for a good while.
"I have a friend who lives not far from here." Rowan explained, starting to lead the way down the street. "She's... kind of eccentric but has a love for music." Pointing down to the far end of the street, Rowan revealed a two story house that looked as if the builders had switched building plans half way through. The first floor was stone, but the upper floors had a very modern look to them. The effect was rather offsetting.
"Yeah..." He trailed off, wondering if it was weird to have friends who lived in these sort of places.
