Marx thoroughly hated portals at this point.

In a panic Marx whirled around and fired and explosion at Castor, managed to deflect the club's swing to barely miss him. The shield however, struck him full force and the fire mage went flying. He crashed downward onto a rooftop, his nearly-a-second-dragon dissipated as Marx groaned and struggled to get up. the flames back on the ground near Maddox wear completely gone now. The remaining dragon, at first slow to react, flew over and hovered by Marx, guarding him in while he was down.
