The Known Stranger
Marx Hunfree
Fire mage (posing as superhuman)
Glasgow, Scotland
Affected RP'ers: @Neo Emolga @AWA1997 @Awasfriend Noblejanobii
A few muttered curse words escaped Marx as portals negated his fireballs. Not so much because they had stopped his attack, but he didn't know who'd created them. He didn't know the powers of any of these mages. For all he knew there were more in the crowd he didn't know about. But he couldn't focus on that now, not in the middle of a fight like this one.
Through the noise he heard a cry, a plea, as to why he was attacking them. He made no reply, feeling annoyed that they would think words would convince him now that the fight had started. Then a shadow crossed over him, looking up he saw a large portion of rock and stone smashing down onto his wall of flame, partially snuffing it out. On one side of him, the side toward maddox, remained blocked by flame, but facing castor Marx was suddenly without cover, apart from the mound of rubble that remained of the boulder. Immediately the flames at marx's feet rose onto his body, covering his physical features and making him quite difficult to look at directly. Hopefully he wouldn't be recognized by the mage -he hadn't even met most of the mages- but even so it wouldn't be hard to remember one or two of his physical features.
Turning back to the offensive, Marx pointed toward the Boulder's rubble and a fiery red glow appear from beneath it. The chunks of rocks exploded outward in deadly trajectories, pushed onward by the explosive heat from beneath them. Marx aimed a few at Maddox, just to keep them busy protecting the unconscious mage, but the majority he aimed for Castor. As Stone and flame rained down toward the mage, Marx let loose a terrible laugh of joy, the laugh of one madly happy at a chance to attack and maybe even destroy his opponent.
Rowan Summers
Music Mage
Edmonton, Canada
Affected RP'ers: @Noblejanobii
Rowan relaxed and smiled as Araxie appeared. Despite the current threat to the mages, he couldn't help feel excited to at the prospect of staying by her side for a good while.
"I have a friend who lives not far from here." Rowan explained, starting to lead the way down the street. "She's... kind of eccentric but has a love for music." Pointing down to the far end of the street, Rowan revealed a two story house that looked as if the builders had switched building plans half way through. The first floor was stone, but the upper floors had a very modern look to them. The effect was rather offsetting.
"Yeah..." He trailed off, wondering if it was weird to have friends who lived in these sort of places.
