Those portals were really getting on Marx's nerves. He made a mental note to find out who was behind them and shut them down once this fight was over.

Marx watched as Castor covered himself in stone armor. Marx smiled and laughed again, using flames to propel him away from the charging mage. Marx began a sort of dance around Castor, always on the move and always remaining several feet away from him with his fire propulsion. Carefully Marx fired a continuous stream of flame at Castor, only this time he focused less on explosive energy or light, but on heat. The heightened intensity of the heat would turn Castor's stone armor into a stove, baking the mage inside. Occasionally he shot a fireball at the wall of flame, just to make sure the other two mages weren't planning to join in.
