Madder flinched at the sound of breaking pottery. He scratched his head and clicked his tongue, observing the situation from under the shield of ice.

"What did you guys do?" he called to Terra, Michael, and Haruka. Terra scrunched up her nose and shook her fist at Madder.

"I don't need your sass! This is your fault, you know! So help me if you weren't needed I'd crush your skull right now!" Madder held his hands in the air.

"Calm down! We all screw up from time to time. This is just one of those times for you." Madder tipped his hat off and let it roll down to his left hand. He throws it out into the fray before following after it, summoning two decks of cards to his hands. "Maddie!" he yelled, "Hey Maddie!" Madder threw out one of the cards and chanted, "I call upon the power of The Moon to grant me the ability of flight! May my plea be heard and recognized!" The card spun in the air before freezing and expanding, bearing the mark of the Moon Tarot card. Madder leapt onto it, his hat in the air above him casting a shield protecting him from debris.

Maddie saw the movement and turned her attention to Madder. She smiled and sent tea tendrils after him, crashing into the ground all around him and creating a spider web around Madder.

"So many companion finally arrives! But you're not quite ripe yet. Did you revert? How sad. We can't have that."
