VCRs and Cassette Players - We still have VCRs and cassette players in the house, as well as VHS tapes and music cassettes. And I sure don't miss having to deal with cassette tapes. Want to hear a certain song in particular? Ha, you're going to need to rewind and then fast forward and then rewind just to hit that sweet spot on the tape where that song starts! All done watching the movie? Well, now you're going to have to sit around waiting for the whole tape to rewind, or the next person's going to chew you out for leaving it stuck on the credits roll (that's where "Be Kind, Rewind" comes from!) I haven't played any of our cassette tapes or VHS tapes in years, and I don't think I ever will. Even if I feel nostalgic, I think I'd rather buy the DVD of the older movie than spend the time to hook up the VHS player.

My brother and I used to record our own personal comedy shows on cassette, and I still have them. I actually have pretty fond memories of those. Everything was impromptu without any kind of script and we got some pretty funny outcomes just by goofing around on the fly.

Computers - We also have laptops that are so old that they're running Windows 3.8 or something along those lines that's pre-Windows 95. I'm not sure why we're still keeping them around (if it was just me, they would have been out the door ages ago), but I think the most they could run was like the earliest version of SimCity or SimFarm in black and white.

Game Boy - I still have the ORIGINAL Game Boy, but there's lines of dead pixels on it. I also still have a Sega Game Gear, and man, so many memories of that thing massacring batteries left and right. You absolutely HAD to have the AC Adapter or forget it, the batteries would be dead before you got to reach the end of whatever game you were playing. Yes, that thing could kill a whopping 6 AA batteries in only two or three hours.

NES - I also have the original NES, and as an awesome bonus, I managed to meet up with James Rolfe and Mike Matei (the guys behind Angry Video Game Nerd) to autograph it. I also still have all the old games for it in case I want to take a trip down memory lane again.

Record Player - The one's in the basement, and I can't remember the last time I've seen it used in action. That belongs to my dad, but yeah, we're still holding onto it.

I'm sure we probably have more older stuff in the attic, but I haven't gone digging around up there for a while.

I still use my Game Boy Advance when I want to play a handheld gaming system, and my PlayStation 2 when I feel like some Guitar Hero. Other than that, I'm pretty up to date on technology.

EDIT: Forgot to mention my MP3 players.
