Summer VS. Winter

I'm going to try to do a poll like this daily. If if doesn't happen, weekly.

For me, I prefer Winter as I much prefer being cold to being hot.

Summer. Most of my friends love winter and I'm over here like, "you're crazy."

The only good thing about winter is Christmas. And maybe snow, but that doesn't happen much. The cons outweigh the pros, though. Everything is dead, no bugs or small animals, and it's just so brown and dreary outside.

Summer may be unbearable in its own ways, but you can always cool off by swimming, which in turn is a really good source of exercise. Plus the fact that you have an activity to do outside to relieve yourself from the weather / climate is better than having to stay inside and bundle up and sit around during the winter.

I'd take the heat of summer over the cold of winter any day.

Plus something about winter spikes my depression, so yeah .

Hm... that's tough because where I live, the weather's bipolar. It's always below 30 when it's winter and above 90 when it's summer so most people stay inside either way. I'll probably say winter though because I'm less miserable in the winter. In the winter I can stay warm by snuggling under blankets and stay in my heavy pajamas. There's also no bugs out when I go outside. Summer though, it's pretty much impossible to beat the heat until 4 PM EST. Then the afternoon thunder storm hits and it lasts until well into the night. I usually have a much harder time sleeping in the summer as a result.

I prefer winter much more. I can't stand the heat of summer, though I do kinda hate both extremes.

The heat is more physically bearable since there have been times it's been so cold I've woken up paralyzed. But with extreme heat I'm just completely fatigued. With the cold I can put on some more layers and still function well enough. Plus I always sleep under sheets and that's horrible in the summer. And winter with snow is very pretty.

Autumn's my favorite season, though.

I prefer summer. I prefer to be too hot than too cold, because I dislike the cold. xD I think my body can naturally deal better with heat.

I like winter. It's quiet, there's little to no yardwork to be done, and I prefer warming up to a nice hot cup of cocoa as opposed to being blasted with summer heat and humidity where all the bugs and pollen try to attack you like you gave them the finger and offended their mother. And when it gets too hot, forget it, I don't feel like doing anything.

And Christmas is awesome. When the whole town decorates everything up and things look festive, it's got a kind of magic to it that you really don't see any other time of the year.

I freeze like a Popsicle during winter thanks to poor circulation. 3: Therefore I much prefer summer!

I'm with you, though, Speed. Winter always make me so moody and depressed, I keep telling people that's the worst time to get to know me. xD

As a propper viking. .. no i hate winter. I hate the cold. I hate snow. I hate the salt on the roads that makes cars rust. I hate thick clothing and i hate vearing thick gloves. Cant stand it! >:v
