    Of Course I Care!

When is it appropriate to show you care?

In my experience, it really depends on the factor of the person. Some people prefer it all the time, whereas others prefer it never. My closest high school friend has shown that she prefers I be friendly, but not to show just how much I care all the time because it makes her uncomfortable. On the other hand, I personally feel showing you care is great all the time! If I don't want you to show that you care about me, then that means there's something up that I really don't feel like talking about at the moment, but such a situation is rare these days. So I think it just varies.

I agree with Noble; it does depend on the person, and it is nice to care all the time. If someone's going through a rough patch, I always let them know that I'm there for them. However, I know there are times when people would rather be left alone, which is completely understandable.

In short, I think it's important to let your friends/loved ones know that you're always going to care (if that's true, lol) but sometimes it's a good idea to let them come to you, all while knowing that you care for them.

"When you think it'll help" is probably the best answer I can give to this one.

As much as I'd love to say all the time, there comes a time when some people expect you to care about something that doesn't really deserve it or need it. Caring about people, the environment, and the future is important, but fussing over the little, materialistic things just isn't really needed.

Also, there comes times when the best approach is to not care what other people think, especially if they're needlessly critical, have doubts in you, and negative in the first place, or are simply selfishly starving for your attention needlessly.
