Do you get crushes? Or if you're already in a relationship or married, do you still develop crushes? I'm talking about real people, here, not fictional characters or celebrities. Hehe, not this time, anyway....

I'll start off by saying yes! I do still get crushes. Well...that is, my crushes on people I actually know or meet are really rare. I get crushes on fictional characters all the time, but that's beside the point. Imho it's perfectly normal and healthy to develop an attraction to someone who isn't your S/O, as long as you have self-control and don't act upon it. YOU CAN'T HELP WHAT OR WHO YOU'RE ATTRACTED TO! You can't help what preferences you have. That's not to say if you have an S/O and you DON'T form crushes, you're a complete freak; that's also completely untrue! Both are very normal phenomena to experience, and everyone is different! My husband says that he hasn't formed crushes on anyone else since we got together, which is one reason why I haven't told him about one big crush I had lately (which I'm about to explain). Plus, I don't want to ruin their friendship. God, that would kill me!

How do you develop crushes? Is it just a thing that suddenly comes out of nowhere, or do you go through certain stages until it becomes a fully-fledged crush? Are you secretive or embarrassed about your crushes (unless the situation calls for it, like staying quiet about a crush you have on someone while you're in a relationship)?

I always go through certain stages. First is the stage I'm mostly unaware of: I'm always thinking about the person. The first stage of a crush for me, for some reason, usually is reinforced by a dream. Like, I'll think about that person more for whatever reason and then have some weird-a**, romantic dream about them which further solidifies my feelings.

Then I start thinking about them even more, and completely deny it.

Afterwards comes the acceptance stage. At this point it's kinda hard to control / contain your feelings. xD

Who's the person you've most recently had a crush on? If you're embarrassed to say, that's completely understandable...but we're all friends here! We won't judge
I'll be honest: I had a crush on Bulbasaur / Eric for a little while. I'm not sure why, I just did. xD As of late I had a big crush on my husband's friend. He's probably one of the dorkiest people I know, which makes it all the more hilarious. For a while it was driving me freaking crazy because it felt so wrong, but now I understand it really isn't a big deal. If I don't treat it like it's a big deal, it won't bother me. I guess...I kinda still have feelings for him? Just a little? Iunno, they kinda come and go. O_o

I used to see crushes as a pretty big deal back in the day before I got married, but now they're pretty insignificant. Minus the latter crush, anyway.
