I like soda but I don't drink it much. I used to drink a soda a day, but at some point I realized how bad it was for my health and managed to go six months without any. Since then I've started drinking it again, but I drink it very little. Pretty much I only drink it when we go out to eat or at parties, and even then I only have one or two for the night, then I'll drink water. I also can't stand diet soda any more since I cut my soda intake to almost nothing.

Definitely this. It's the hundreds of calories that make it a major turnoff for me also. And at some restaurants, the water tastes very iffy, and I'm really not a fan of diet colas either. So, I might grab a soda there, but other than that, I try to go with water or diet lemonade (which is nearly water anyway XD)
