Welcome to PXR, Fate!!! Absol is a pretty cool Pokemon - how do you feel about Mega Absol?! And it's comforting to know you've also been playing Pokemon since you were younger! Though, you should definitely give ORAS a try - if you liked Hoenn, you might really enjoy it!

Thaannkkss! Mega-Absol? I wasn't a fan at first, but it's grown on me! I think it was just the weird peek-a-bangs it has that put me off at first. I love the rest of it, though! And I'm thrilled my favorite got a mega evolution.

And my sister's got Alpha Sapphire but doesn't play it. Maybe I'll steal it. =P
