Do you type how you speak?

Yep, pretty much the same on both fronts from my end. I do tend to act a bit goofier here than in real life, but I'm pretty sure that's okay.

I can relate to this in a gargantuan way. It is in fact closer to the way I talk. I'm quite often reprimanded by friends for talking in an unnecessarily orotund way. Verily.

But then look at my avatar. I also type like that sometimes.

I'm a little more flamboyant when I type. xD As Xanthe will know, I'm quite shy in person. I also suck at explaining things verbally and can't do it to save my life. So I'm much better at typing and...I type more formally I guess lol. Like to sound smart. :p

Eh, I don't really type how I talk. When I type, I tend to curse a lot, but when I talk, I literally almost never curse. Also, I'm actually really shy, but I don't think the way I type usually reflects that.

When I'm trying to be serious, then no. But overall yes. Well, sorta. Words tend to come out of my mouth like a stream of consciousness. I tend to speak fast, though, which makes me mispronounce things and/or stutter occasionally. Its not that noticeable but it drives ME crazy when it happens. XD I do chuckle and giggle a lot, hence why I'm always "xD" 'ing at something. The laugh is real, folks.

Like Corey, is occasionally like to ironically use chat speech...but less often than him. XD

I think for me it depends on the situation. If it is on a facebook private chat or group chat, I type how I speak. I regularly say and type "hell yeah" and we have this thing where if anyone in the group compliments to does something for another, we reply with "Thank" and the other will say "Welc" instead of thank you and you're welcome. I also do it to an extent here as I'm quite chilled and stuff so I don't try too hard to seem quite professional and stuff, but at the same time, i'm normally quite proper anyway except for the 'friend memes' and jokes that I'll refer to and stuff so even in my 'professional' typing I somewhat type how I usually would anyway, I just tend to use a few more long professional words instead of stuff like "OMG WTF That's so gr9, Thank." or something that I would send to friends. haha.

I'm a goofy. Always. HYUCK HYUCK HYUCK. I only try to be professional around my workplace superiors. Cuz those people you don't wana mess around with. I troll them professionally though.
