I've used those unboxing videos once. And it was when I was wanting to see what was inside a collector's edition I wanted to get. But to people who actually sit watching people open a box that they'll never buy. I just can't understand the joy found in that activity. xD

Yeah, they seem cool, I guess. Lootcrate seems cool, but I know I would get a LOT of stuff I wouldn't care for. I'm not really into Doctor Who or stuff like that, but it seems like you'd get a lot of that kind of thing even if you don't particularly care for it.

I do subscribe to TokyoTreat, which has people getting a lot of cool stuff. I don't think I got my box for May yet, though. Not sure what happened to it. XP
