While I believe that the general population does seem to favor Pokemon, your data gathering method is faulty: as this is a Pokemon forum, there's going to be clear bias.

I agree with this.

I like both equally, as Pokemon has better games but Digimon had a more 'grab my attention' anime. That is until it seemed to fall off the map in the west.
