    Roller Coasters

What is your opinion on roller coasters? Which is your favorite?

This thread is inspired by me just getting back from Six Flags Great Adventure. I never tried a roller coaster until last year, when I went on Nitro and had a hell of a time. This year, I went on Kingda Ka in the front seats and had another awesome experience! If I had to pick a favorite, it'd be Nitro from Great Adventure. :D

I'm okay with wooden ones, and some of the tamer steel ones, but forget Top Thrill Dragster or Kingda Ka
Everyone has a dream that fills their heart. A journey they must take. A destiny to fulfill. As close as your imagination exists a magical place, where wondrous creatures with incredible powers help make dreams come true. It's the world of Pokemon!!"

Love 'em. It's been a while since I've been on them, but they're fun provided the lines aren't too insane.

When Busch Gardens had The Big Bad Wolf, Alpengeist, Loch Ness Monster, and Apollo's Chariot, I went on all of them, some of them twice. They were all fun, but I wouldn't ride on Alpengeist more than once, or else your stomach is going to get wrecked. The others are great, but they replaced The Big Bad Wolf with Verbolten (which I haven't gone on yet). Meanwhile, you can see I95 from the top of Apollo's Chariot! Good times! XD

Turning upside down, moving fast, or the fear of something going wrong don't usually dissuade me from them, it's usually the long lines that do.

I loooooooove rollercoasters. c: I haven't been on them many times, because the best ones are two states above me, but it doesn't stop me from loving them! My favourites are the Superman Escape & Scooby-Doo in Movie World, and the Cyclone in Dream World.

Roller coasters are tricky for me since I have minor motion sickness and a fear of heights. My first official rollercoaster was Mt. Everest at Disney World. I couldn't walk after I got off it because it went backwards. I've progressed, with the Disney World Barnstormer being my first enjoyable rollercoaster. Then, I progressed to the Carowinds Goldrusher and the year after that I was able to get on the Vortex. Then I went back to Disney and Universal recently and if I remember correctly I was able to ride Space Mountain at Disney but I think that was the only true rollercoaster I rode. Then at Universal, I was able to ride pretty much everything except the dragon themed rollercoaster in the Hoggesmeade part of Universal and Rockin Rollercoaster.

Space Mountain at Disney World was the first I ever rode. But that was basically only because I waited 2 hours in line for that dumb ride and I didn't feel like leaving and not going on the ride.

Blah, not a fan of roller coasters. xD I'm pretty thin so I'm always paranoid and thinking, "Wait, is this bar really gonna hold me in? What if I slip out?"

Been on a couple, though, including the Apollo's Chariot that Neo was talking about. So hard to breathe. But I appreciate the experience.

My attitude is thousands of people ride roller coasters on a daily basis. The chances of you being in an accident are so slim. I mean heck, the possibility of getting into a car accident exists, but that's not going to stop you from driving is it?

And I'd say Apollo's Chariot is probably the best one at Busch Gardens, although I like Loch Ness also. They're both quite a bit of fun and they both have that rush that feels awesome.

I like roller coasters! They're pretty fun, and I'm always disappointed when one of my friends won't ride them with me. We have an amusement park called Carowinds that borders my state (North Carolina) and South Carolina, and I've been there several times (it's the closest amusement park to me with a three hour drive).
