    99% of those online IQ tests either intentionally like to make you look really dumb or really smart. The only way to truly know your IQ is to be tested by actual professionals. Just saying.

    Edit: as for me, I very much dislike how some people rely solely on IQ to bash someone or make themselves sound so intelligent. IQ tests only tests certain functions / sections of your brain. I don't think it tests things such as the right side of your brain; your critical thinking skills; your social intelligence; etcetera. That's most likely because these things are nearly unquantifiable.

    Edit 2: I would even go so far as to say that IQ means next to nothing.

    what speed-x said on all counts! IQ testing doesnt actually measure "intelligence," which is an incredibly nebulous and multifaceted concept in the first place. it measures things like problem solving, knowledge of specific subjects, and test-taking ability most of all. many IQ tests are specifically intended for a western audience, too, meaning that they arent universal and therefore cant accurately measure what would presumably be a universal concept - that is to say, intelligence. plus, even if IQ was a valid construct (in my opinion it just isnt), this particular test is hardly a real IQ test; professionals have to administer those and they tend to take quite a while ;p

    True, but it's still fun to take the tests, even if they aren't real. For instance, I like to take personality quizzes just for fun if I can find good ones. Unfortunately, most of those you can make say anything you want them to if you know what the possible end results are.

    That's true, but I suppose what I was getting at is how seriously some people take these fake IQ tests. It almost seems as if people take these things much more seriously because IQ is a quantitative value, therefore imho these stupid IQ tests are far more dangerous than little personality tests that are dependent more on qualitative, or abstract factors.

    Right, I understand, but I think this one was made more for fun than to actually try to say IQ, or just to make people feel smart since most questions are easy enough that most people should get average or higher on it.

    I got 124. xD I had NO clue what any of those number patterns are (I'm terrible with numbers). In fact, I guessed half of those...haha. But yeah, I agree with Speed and Starmie--it's not like this actually means anything or measures your intelligence. x)

    The one was the Fibonacci Sequence.

    1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55.

    Start with one.
    There's nothing before it, so it stays one for the next number as well.
    The second one has a one before it, 1 + 1 = 2.
    The two has a one before it, 2 + 1 = 3
    The three has a two before it, 3 + 2 = 5
    And it just keeps going infinitely.
    A graph of it is supposed to be a spiral that represents perfection.

    The other one, about what the guy likes, he liked numbers that were perfect squares.
