Pokemon Adventure Creators to Appear at Comic Con

Pokemon Adventures fans who will attend this year’s San Diego Comic Con are going to be in for a treat! Hidenori Kusaka and Satoshi Yamamoto, creators for Pokemon Adventures, will be making their first ever North American appearance there!
Hidenori Kusaka has been writing the Pokemon Adventures story since the very beginning while Satoshi Yamamoto has been working on the artwork since volume 10 of the series. These two have been the creative force behind the Adventures series and are always busy handling work involving Pokemon and other projects. Hidenori Kusaka and Satoshi Yamamoto are constantly working on the Pokemon Adventures series and currently working on Pokemon XY and Pokemon OmegaRuby-AlphaSapphire. It is a real treat to see Hidenori Kusaka and Satoshi Yamamoto to take time off to visit America for the first time. Below is what Perfect Square’s Senior Editorial Director, Beth Kawasaki, had to say about this:

“It’s a tremendous honor to welcome Hidenori Kusaka and Satoshi Yamamoto as special guests for the 2016 Comic-Con International,” says Beth Kawasaki, Senior Editorial Director for Perfect Square. “We know fans of all ages will be very excited for the opportunity to join in the fun as POKÉMON celebrates its 20th Anniversary and VIZ Media celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year.”

Hidenori Kusaka and Satoshi Yamamoto will be taking part in several events during San Diego Comic Con such as meeting fans and signings at the Viz Booth. They will also be participating on a Pokemon panel event alongside VIZ Media editors. Viz Media is also promising more Pokemon events later that will be taking place at Comic Con. The Viz Media booth will be located at Booth 2813.
It is great to see the Pokemon manga get involved with Pokemon’s 20th anniversary celebration. We will surely bring more details about Pokemon’s involvement at San Diego Comic Con once they become available.
San Diego Comic Con will take place from July 20th through 24th.
