    honey u need 2 chill

Are any of you dealing with stress at the moment? What do you do to relax?

I'm currently trapped in the exam stress cycle. I revise too hard one day, then I can't revise at all the next day because I'm too worn down. On top of that, I'm a massive perfectionist when it comes to academia, so I'm desperate to get the best grade possible and that just exacerbates the situation. I can't even take loads of time out I feel like I'm procrastinating, even if I'm being relatively productive (for example, if I work on a personal project)

I've found that going outside helps me the most, and so does taking a long bath and doing some art. But then I feel totally guilty for not studying, so I can't win really xD

Right now, it's mostly unemployment that has me a little down. The job situation is kind of rough and it's very hard to be honest and also try and talk your way into a job without stretching the truth. Plus, I thought getting an MBA would help, but it hasn't really done anything. And eh, it wasn't cheap either.

i am stressed always at all times ! but i find that sometimes a mug of tea, some good food, and some good music can be enough to keep the stress at bay for a little while

with your studies, just try to remember that youll do better and get more done in the long run if you allow yourself some downtime, yknow? taking breaks is just as important as studying, because you wont absorb the information nearly as well if youre constantly trying to do it, and as youve discovered, youre much more likely to experience burnout if you dont allow the time for self-care

A little bit. I have one more project due before I graduate, so that's a bit stressful. For the most part, not stressed right now!

I am always stressed about something. Even if it's the tiniest, most stupidest thing possible. XD I don't often take baths, but I find that if I add some epsom salts to the water I can relax somewhat. And that's nice, especially after a freezing cold day.

I seem to be permanently stressed too D: I definitely need to force myself to have more breaks from studying though, I always start getting really distracted after a while but still don't take a break and it just makes things worse really. It's frustrating though, I know how to theoretically be most productive because I study psychology, but I struggle to actually do it.

I can never seem to escape stress as well.

Currently I'm experiencing long term stress about having to serve two years in a conscripted military, essentially burning off two years of my life. Ain't cute, hon.

In case anyone's interested, I had my first exam and I think it went okay!! I'm not insanely worried about the others now, I think it was just the anticipation of what was to come. But I am still stressed about how much I'm procrastinating!! Someone send me a decent attention span please? xD

That's so grim, I can't even imagine being forced to do something like that for so long :| Is there not even an alternative non-military service? I was born in Cyprus and I know they have one for conscientious objectors, I think they do admin work, but I get the impression that it's quite difficult to get into.
