Oh, that explains why I see that font being used on stuff printed in that period of time. It's not as hideous unpleasant to the eye unlike Times New Roman or Comic Sans MS, but I can see why perhaps overexposure to such blandness might prove unnerving.

I dislike Arial. Greatly. Pisses me off whenever academic papers insist on having me use it. "Arial, 12" urgh. People should scrap Arial as the default and use Calibri instead. Or Tahoma. Or Verdana.
