When I was at school, I used to walk along a main road to get there. The pathway along this road was made of half pedestrian walk way, and half cycle path, and together they were pretty wide. But every morning I encountered a woman with a metre wide twin pram, who also had two more children walking in parallel with her. Together they took up the ENTIRE two metre wide pathway. Cyclists would have to swerve into the road to avoid them, and I watched them refuse to move for a man in a wheelchair once so he was also forced into the traffic.
I don't understand why someone would think their oversized family are more important than someone's safety?? Most paths in England are pretty small, a large pushchair is just such a bad idea.
