Bottled Water VS. Tap Water

When you eat at a fast food restaurant, or in general, do you prefer bottled water or just tap water?

I always get tap water. It just seems more refreshing than bottled water.

I just go with tap water. I honestly don't taste too much of a difference.

i havent had bottled water, ever. i'm not gonna pay the same as i would for a soda, energy drink, or milkshake for something i can get free!
PS: i dont drink the water in my apartment it doesnt really ever get cold, pretty close to boiling hot tho, so i make my ramen noodles on record speed!

so funny story, i actually did a project on this for my statistics class when i was in high school, testing to see if people generally preferred tap water or bottled water! the area we were at had very clean tap water, which does of course make the data not quite generalizeable since no one had real reason to be skeptical about the water's quality there. but we first asked people their opinion in general (most people favored bottled water), and then did a blind taste test where they sampled from two cups of water without knowing which one had tap and which one had bottled. turned out that people really couldnt tell the difference between the two despite a general bias towards preferring bottled water :D

dorky anecdotes aside, i personally prefer bottled water if i dont have access to a water filter for the tap, but thats because i still insist i can taste a difference... filtered water just tastes more clean to me (maybe a placebo effect, i ought to have a friend test me sometime)

Tap water because we all know bottled water is carcinogenic. And I am one of those unusual people who can taste a difference.

Pretty sure everyone I know here (where I live) uses tap water...because why the heck would you pay for water in a bottle? xD I also use a big water bottle which I like to fill up at will. Plus I don't have to waste so many bottles (which are teerriibblllee for the environment). It would drive me insane to have to drink from bottles (that aren't mine lol).

We drink mostly bottled because our tap water doesn't taste good. I don't know why, but it just tastes bad. We have one of those pitchers with the filter, and that takes the taste out, but the bottles are just so convenient... I have been making an attempt to use less bottles though.
