I'll be honest nearly caught me with those parentheses, yet not that bad. Should be 58 by my work. Stupid maths though...

As far as I can tell, most of my friends that went through the public school system for middle school came out with 10, while those of us that came from the private school system got 58. Why? Well, in my state at least, it is taught that you always multiply first, then you divide, rather than doing it from left to right as you come.

I got 58 first try and I go to private school lol. I didn't even know it was taught any other way than this.

That said, I almost didn't graduate high school because the education was such a joke it wasn't worth paying attention to. I'm not sure what they were teaching, to be honest.
