What was or still is your Dream Job?
Ever wondered what your fellow PXR members dreamed to be during their early childhood or even strive for or want to at this current time? I know I've had my fair share of wondering what a particular member wants to be or always wanted to be growing up. It could have been ridiculous, it could be realistic. There's nothing wrong with dreams or even simply dreaming of you being in such a position.
Me? I always dreamed of being a computer animator since I was in elementary school. I had best friends that were all into anime and video games and we often talked about making our own video game company when we got older. A pretty big dream we believed we could make a reality. Who knows? It could happen or something on a smaller scale. To this day, I still dream of being an animator even if it seems that dream may not happen or happens much later on in my life. It's a fun little thing imagining myself working at a place like Pixar and bringing my creations to life for others to enjoy.
It's a dream after all. Something that makes you smile. What are your dreams or what did you dream of becoming? Do you ever daydream about it? Let's learn a little more about our fellow PXR friends~

Experienced Trainer
I really wanted to be a doctor when I was a kid, and was intending to apply for medical school in 2013. My school pushed me into dentistry instead. Then I realised I'm not at all interested in dentistry and I'm not quite smart enough!! I'm still leaning towards a healthcare career (most likely Clinical Psychology/Psychotherapy), but I'm not 100% at the moment. I just want to do something that helps people, so I would be more than happy working for a charity instead.
The best job I've had so far: When I was 15ish I started using a lot of Lush Cosmetics products, and got obsessed with getting a job there before I settled down in a long-term career. I did actually get a retail job with them over Christmas, and it was the best job I've had by a mile. Everyone was so friendly, the training was really good, and it was really motivating to be working for a company that shares my ethics. Also they treat their staff really well, especially compared to my previous employers.

when i was little i wanted to be a vet because i loved animals... then i realized its a pretty icky job with lots of schooling involved, so that didnt last long :P
where i am right now, my dream job would be either a professional food critic (go to restaurants and get paid to eat food and talk about it), or something thats mostly clerical work but pays well and has insurance and ideally involves minimal human interaction

Soulless Bidoof~
When I was younger, I went through periods where I wanted to be a marine biologist, a teacher, a journalist, a psychologist, and a librarian. I started uni with the goal of getting my Master's in Library Sciences (which is what you need to be an official librarian), but my job as a shelver at a library made me see that librarianship was not for me. There was a lot more human management, customer relations and admin work then I had realized. After that, I went through a period where I wanted to be a mechanic, a park ranger and a forestry person. However, my love of my library job caused me to reconsider and start my quest to become a Library Technician. Half way home!
I want to promote the love of reading, and really do enjoy the tasks I'd have to do (most of them at least). Plus, job prospects are looking good, which is quite assuring. I still think about the park ranger path from time to time though.

I don't know if I ever had a dream job, but I'm enjoying being a civil engineer quite a bit. I have no desire to switch career paths right now, so I'll just say I'm living the dream.
