Ok, then...

They're both adults and I've been ripped from existence, to the point I can only materialize and be remembered for a week, and getting a soul is difficult, a monster soul because they cease to exist almost immediately and a human soul because so few enter the underground. Do you realize how impossible it would be for them to get me a soul with these conditions?
