I guess I'll search the last area tonight. I need to question someone today. Introduce myself really

    Interview 82. Vivanctus the Eelectross

Excuse me. Can I ask you a few things? I'd like to know about yourself, this town, and if you've seen anything interesting around this town recently?

    The time is upon us...

You walk into the Sentarix Corporate Office in search of Latime, who you find sitting behind the reception desk reading a gossip magazine. As you approach, she sees you from over the top of the magazine and leisurely places it down beside her on her desk. She manufactures a smile and says mechanically, "Hello, what can I do for you?"

You introduce yourself and explain that you're an Emissary, to which she seems surprised.

"Okay, so are you, like...a celebrity or...?" She seems bored with you already and sighs. "Look, if you're not here as a customer or 'cause you have business with my business, I can't help you." Her nasally voice is enough to make you want to cringe, but you resist the urge. "Wait...are you, like, the guy going around town giving out free samples? My friend Charli got, like, this bizarre thing the other day, and, like, I bet you gave that to him, right? 'Cause you Emissaries or whatever showed up around when he got it, right? Ugh, he wouldn't tell me where he found it, the little troll."

You make it clear that whatever her friend received, it wasn't from the Emissaries. She looks unimpressed once again and averts her eyes, obviously disinterested in further conversation, which is when you bring up the necklace.

"A gold and ruby necklace?" She screws up her face as if the question is ridiculous, but then something clicks. "Ohhh, right," she chuckled rather condescendingly, "that stupid Ninetales asked you to fetch it for her, didn't she? Hm. Figures. She's too stupid to find it by herself. The other day, me and Charli were at this, like, furniture store, right, looking for a perfect new couch because I got ice polish on my old one and no matter what I tried on it, it just wouldn't come off. Anyway, so she comes up to me and asks me if I've seen it. Like, yeah right!" She scoffs, turning back to her magazine. "I don't just go around looking behind recliners for some dumb necklace!"

She can see that you aren't very engaged in her small rant and she rolls her eyes. "Look, I've got work to do, and I don't really have time for chit-chat." She picks up the magazine and begins to read it. Without taking her eyes off the page, she reiterates, "Shoo."

Figuring there's not much else you can get from this rude Pokémon, you leave the building and hope something she said would be useful.

As fun as exploring is, I think I'll talk to the town's residents while I have a chance.

You approach Udipheign during his morning break at his workplace, the Greendash Restaurant. He watches you suspiciously as you near, and begins floating again after sitting down.

"Felix? Felix, you say? Are you like Madder, then?" he asks quickly, wondering why you're approaching him. "I-I already talked to one of you people. I don't want any trouble." He looks you up and down like he's afraid. "If you're here to stop me from following my hunch, it's not going to happen!"

He floats backward, putting some distance between the both of you. His eyes dart back and forth, as if he's expecting a party of robbers to emerge from behind you and beat him into submission. To put his mind at ease somewhat, you inform him that you're here to enquire about any blind residents.

"You just assume I know everyone in town? Wh-why would you do that? I feel anxious easily, and making new friends is difficult for me. Obviously you wouldn't know anything about that, Mister Felix Archeops." He frowns at you, then recoils, as if he's just realised what he's said. He backs up again, hitting the wall behind him. He uses his ribbon-like feelers to brace himself, patting down the cement as if trying to find a secret passage through which to escape. "I just...want to be left alone. I don't know anything about blind people! That Dartrix guy always has his eyes closed when I see him working at that restaurant, and...I know there's an Abra in the city, but are they blind? I don't know!"

He gathers the remainder of his lunch, which he barely had the time to touch, and glances back and forth between you and the back door to the restaurant. "I have to go."

He disappeared through the door, slamming it faster than you thought possible. You hear a heavy lock click on the other side.

I feel like scaring someone today if all the other security options have been taken but instead for the good of the group, I will explore.

What abandoned building should I break into today...

Oh this one looks...fun. So how should I search it. I`m thinking top down. But I don't think the stalkers would be stupid enough to hide something all the way at the top. Hmm so that means Starwatcher Skyscraper (77h) Floors 71-80 will be were I`m "searching" today. More like breaking in and entering... Hhh

Vivanctus is out shopping at Kingsmark Supermarket when you come upon her. She greets with with pleasant eyes and a happy smile--as smiley as an Eelektross' open mouth can be, that is.

"Hello, little one," she hums, seemingly interested by you. She is massive in comparison to you - almost seven times your height - yet she radiates a welcoming vibe which you can't help but feel comfortable around. "What can I do for you today?"

You ask about her life, Silvercoal City, and if she has seen anything interesting. She seems to find your questions amusing but regards them with a respectful seriousness.

"I am Vivanctus, and I have lived here for many years. I love this city's community; I have made many good friends here and I intend to remain here through thick and thin. The Stalkers are daunting, that is certain, but I will not be swayed in my decision to remain here. You see, I own the Destno Public Housing Project--and by that, I mean to say that I fund it using nearly everything I earn as a doctor at Calstone Medical Offices. Homelessness is a serious issue, and I believe no Pokémon should be without a place to live. Well...except for Zem, of course, but he's a special case." She gives a little chuckle. "It's not-for-profit and I prefer it that way. I never want to make a profit of suffering Pokémon. Everyone there lives in those apartments for free...just as it should be. People there might not be the happiest, but...I try my best."

"Oh, but you didn't come here to hear me ramble about myself! Have I had seen anything interesting around the city lately? Come to think of it, there have been a few strange things show up at my workplace, Calstone Medical. Usually when I see something strange, I just leave it be, in case it belongs to someone else who put it there intentionally. But...I get a strange feeling about some of the things I've come across. Not really in the first ten floors... Above those." She thinks a little harder, bringing a tentacle-like arm to her face, touching her lip in thought. "Something very, very disturbing has been installed out the back of Dakin Apartment Towers, too. Some sort of highly distasteful statue. I've passed by it a few times now and although its removal has been issued, every time a team goes in to retrieve it, it's said they come back clutching their heads and...well..." She leans right down to your ears and whispers, "I think it might be related to the Stalkers."

Fear soaks her expression for but a moment before she flushes it from her face and takes a deep breath. "Anyway. In such times of panic, it's important to remain calm, polite, and kind. Sometimes I like to take a dip in the bay with my friend Quei, who maintains the shipyard. Despite being an electric type, I was built to live in water." She summoned a genuine smile which bordered on a giggle. "You, however, might need some gear to help you swim. Good thing Quei's got access to that too."

She gives you a wink and bids you farewell, explaining that she must get to work. With that, she levitates away.

Kure the Doublade is practicing meditation in the Silvercoal City Fitness Centre's dojo on the sub-level B2. He senses you entering through the door and slowly sheathes the two parts of himself. He levitates towards you and bows, using his magenta tassels in the place of arms. Immediately you can sense that he feels comfortable around you despite the obvious type disadvantage he has. It's as if he isn't even acknowledging it. Then again, he appears difficult to read in any capacity.

"Welcome to the training dojo, Lampent," he offers, allowing you to fully take in the sight of the dojo. You introduce yourself as Kames, so he corrects himself. "Forgive me, Kames. I am Kure, Silvercoal City's most practiced swords master. I teach many arts: patience, virtue, technique, offence and defence." He hovers into the centre of the dojo mat, and you follow. He lowers himself to the ground and you do the same, as if you are both sitting. "As of late, I have come into a new skill... Exorcism."

You are surprised by this revelation, but looking the Doublade up and down, you realise it makes complete sense. He seems to have a deep understanding of spirituality and possibly even the Stalkers themselves.

"I must warn you that Exorcism is a very powerful technique. It is extremely draining, and will leech the lifeforce out of anyone who performs it, no matter whom on." His tassels float about with grace and mystery, keeping you intrigued. "I have heard about the Emissaries, and I fully support your mission. The Stalkers are a blight upon this city. Their dismissal would be ideal."

"However, there is a limit to how many Emissaries I can teach this invaluable skill to. Three Emissaries may learn to Exorcise from me. No more, and preferably no less. It is a strenuous activity and teaching my methods will drain me of my energy for a time. When I have recovered, I can teach more of you to Exorcise. I cannot tell you when that might be. Additionally, if this spiritual technique is passed on to too many, it will draw the attention of the Stalkers."

"Thank you for stopping by, Kames. I'm afraid that's all the help I can be right now."

Kure returns to his meditations and you leave to return to the clubhouse and report your findings.

Excorcism has been unlocked. You may now Interview (Learn) to gain this Skill.
A limit of three Pokémon may learn this Skill! Decide who wisely.

Excuse me, Dominique? Can I get a moment of your time, please?

I won't mince words, here - I know what happened with your friend Rosco, and you have my deepest condolences. Rest assured, I won't tell anyone what you witnessed, but I need to hear it from you - what happened that night? Can you please tell me about Rosco's last words, last moments? I'm so sorry to drag up the bad memories again, but you could be helping the whole city with this information.

    Interview 58. Dominique the Archeops.
