Before I had this job I have now...I NEVER heard back from any of the dozens I applied to. Except SRS. I heard back like a week later after that where they just personally responded to me.

Really? There are ways to mass email without everyone seeing everyone else on the email. Would that still be a problem?

It could depending on the method used. Certain methods are susceptible to hacking so better not to reply at all than risk a law suit.
